+ZerkMonsterHunter 4 For when I need him to one shot someone. Since mine has 35 speed, he could double many with buffs. you'd be surprised how many times Eliwood tanking magic saved my team. I'll always remember him tanking Reinhardt when Cecilia could not. I like using underdogs okay. I use Eliwood and Berkut many times. they were actually the first 2 to get 3000 merits. To each their own I guess.

Lloyd's regal blade only works if his OPPONENT has 100% health, not Lloyd. Also if your using Navarre your not using Killing edge, Wo dao and Slaying Edge+ make him a monster

Actually, Jaffar has been on 3 banners (Blazing Blade banner, Battling Camus banner, and the Life and Death banner). But still, it's kind of sad to see Takumi, who once was a unit to be feared, ended up overshadowed by other bow users such as Brave Lyn, Bride Cordelia, and even Innes, and is pretty much forced to use Brave Bow+ just to keep up with the metagame now.

gamerprincess13 I agree. The main problem at the moment is that Brave Bow is literally the only usable bow at the moment besides Firesweep, but because Faye is extremely hard to get, it's essentially useless. They need to do something about archers because they control the game besides Reinhardt.

Yeah, though technically, it's two due to Brave Bow+ and the Legendary Bows (mainly Brave Lyn's and Innes'). I only see Firesweep Bow+ on Bride Cordelia and that's about it. I think they should introduce a new bow that works similar to the Wo Dao+ (grants +10 extra damage when a special activates) or a bow that's super effective on horses and still effective on fliers (because Horse Emblem is easy to build) to give archers more options that just Brave Bow+/Legendary Bow. Oh, and maybe another Firesweep Bow+ user because Faye isn't enough! They gave us two Brave Bow+ users, so it seems fair to get another one.

I use Navarre because he's one of my favourite Fire Emblem characters. His stats are good and he is NOT trash. In fact, he's a very underrated unit. Here's my build: Brave Sword+ Reciprocal Aid Luna A slot: Life and Death 3 B slot: Desperation 3 C slot: Threaten Spd 3 Sacred Seal: Attack +1 Stats (no merges) HP 47 Atk 47 Spd 39 Def 20 Res 21 Sure, he's not S tier but he's at least B tier. You were a bit harsh on him, he works very well with skill inherit, especially a Quad Build since he already has two great skills without skill inherit. Just because someone isn't S tier or overused doesn't mean they're terrible.

He only has slightly less attack (2 points less I believe) then Hana who everyone is praising nonstop at the moment. Talk about overrated. He also has better defenses and speed. So if Hana is considered a top tier Navarre should be at least B tier. Seems gamepress agrees with me too. And for your information, I used him without Summoner support for a while, I've been using him since he came out and he's been working fine. Even used him with a discount Killing Edge set and he works very well. And please explain how 47 attack and 39 speed with a Brave Sword is "average"?

Cosmic Fall I can agree with this as I've got a very similar build to you(death blow 3 and reposition), although mine is at +1 merge. He has 31 base att and 37 base spd, whilst not amazing, he does his job really well. Thanks to his decent defence and really high speed, he can tank brave lyn. Everyone keeps on shitting on him saying he's awful, since day 1, but he is really underrated

Michalis is a beast, and with a fortify flier buff his defence soars to 41. Hauteclere is a killer weapon, and combined with ignis + quick riposte he will tank and decimate any melee unit who dares to attack into him. Not to mention that he is a flier giving him superior movement and positioning control over terrain. The sample clip given in the video is completely misinforming Michalis' worth with his 3star version being ganged upon by mages and red units; even a 5star Minerva will die just as easily in the same situation. Michalis is a reliable unit in his role of soaking up physical damage and killing his opponent on his counter attack (given that his opponent is not an armoured unit, you should deal with those using mages), and should be valued for that.

Michalis? He's kinda whack at 4* or below but he's pretty amazing as a 5*. I put Draconic Aura and Quick Reposte and he wrecks. Also another example of Takumi being powercreeped is the fact that Hector was still broken even when he came out day 1 but since he was so rare nobody really acknowledged that he was broken until he came out in Hero Fest which made everyone go for him and forget Takumi because of his DC and Quick Reposte 2 combo plus the ability to put Vantage or WoM (or Pass) at the same time making Takumi super weak stat and skill wise. Gotta agree with NessLucas on this one, Tiki Y is my S Support and currently my best unit by far. Ninian’s Fortify Dragon buff allows her to tank even the strongest of Blues, as well as Falchions and powerful mages. Even without Ninian, her matchup spread against the cast is amazing, and gives a nice high arena rating.

I just pulled Jaffar on this new banner and I couldn't be happier. Mostly for completionist purposes. I don't really use dagger units, though I wish to. Even my Kagero remains mostly unused, though she is -Atk. The +Spd doesn't make up for that. I do use all the units mentioned (except Lloyd... still not over what they did to him) but not as often as other units. Michalis probably gets the most use. I tend to build my units to counter for Arena Assault, so I stuck a lancebreaker on him and he's pretty happy as is ^.^

I gave my Spring Xander a Ridersbane+ and Bonfire. His defenses are really good and he's a great tank, so giving him a special lance and Bonfire allows him to get some use in Arena Assault against Cav teams.

Top less used meta crusher unit, Adult Tiki. I have been using her since day 1 (3star), and she destroyed Hectors and checked Takumi in the first months of the game. Now, with proper building, and the disapearance of falchion in the meta, she still kicks ass against certain archer, green units and most armor units (that aren't Effie) Using her with a dancer and Julia makes a good starting core for an arena team. (I run Ninian now that I can replace Olivia)

Actually, Lloyd has a very good attack and speed (he has 32/35, which become 34/37 when Regal Blade's effect is active (Which is very good for a vanilla unit, and this effect is very consistent, since requires only that the opponent is at 100% hp), and his stats are good, aside of his flimsy defense. Also, he's a very versatile unit, that can be used as a magic check or as a speedy sword. Imo he's still a very strong (Yet expensive to build) sword unit, on par with Marth, Athena and Gray

The shield skills do have good uses outside the meta. Chain challenges, GHB, and BHB are examples. I remember having Camus with Grani's shield during the Hawkeye and Ninian battle. He tanked the ridersbane and zanboto users and took them down Where as he would've gotten bodied if he had a different A skill. Just cuz they may seem useless in the meta, doesn't mean you should count them out entirely. Also i still use Takumi. Partly cuz I don't have any other viable archer besides Jeorge, but he still gets the job done. I don't think Brave bow is needed for everything though. It makes the enemy an easy target in arena whether they get doubled or one shotted cuz LnD. Plus I remember making a troll move Where Fujin Yumi's pass got me to kill a Bridelia during an arena match. So yeah, I still remember him.

I think Michalis can be really good, with his default A slot, the proper build and the right flier emblem setup. He can bait and tank a lot, including archers like brave Lyn and take her out no problem. Also, with the right skills and flier team you can do some pretty nasty combos using him.

Nice! Lb should work amazingly on Michalis, specially with bonfire (which I think is one of the better specials for him anyways) I gave mine hit and run, and goad fliers. With Elincia giving him fortify fliers he can really tank stuff, or swoop in and get some damage, then Elincia can finish the enemy off, even if Michalis travels his maximum distance, because of flier formation. Just one example, but really I find Michalis's A skill to be invaluable for flier emblem, since an archer and a dancer, or even brave Lyn in a horse emblem team with reposition can destroy your flier emblem. I'm sure there are more optimal configs for flier emblem, but Michalis is definitely viable.

I use Grani shield. It's super good in tempest. Iote's is great on tanks especially Beruka who is pretty solid.

Jaffar was the first (two) five stars that I got. He used to be really good until dagger users completely vanished from the meta and off the face of the game. Only Kagero and maybe the new Sakura are viable dagger users now.

Atk/spd aren't the only stats that matter. Brave bow is good, but so is firesweep bow/other bows. Jaffar can be a great chipper/debuffer Don't gotta be meta to not be forgotten

I have a few gripes with this. Navarre only does low damage because he has a killing edge. Fodder that off and bam, he's instantly way better. His stats are good. Lloyd's Regal Blade is a very solid weapon. Pretty aight stats, too. His high res makes him solid with a DC set too. Michalis hasn't been powercreeped lol, have they even released another axe flier since him? (No seriously, I can't remember.) Also don't give me that Minerva shit- she's 5 star locked and serves a more offensive role compared to Michalis' more defensive statline. Oh yeah, they all got reruns too. Are there better alternatives to these? Yeah, you can say that for almost every other unit in the game.

Michalis being forgotten? I still use him and I see him all the time in arena. I see him more often then fliers like Spring Camilla and Minerva

I guess the forgotten ones are the least common ones in the arena. Thanks to skill passing, the meta game has change dramatically. I think the most forgotten hero is Eliwood. Easily outclassed by other cavalier units. Xander, Camus, Reinhardt, And even his own son Brave Roy. Xander has high defense and can hit hard. Camus has good speed and can hit hard and both of them have distant counter built in. Reinhardt nukes everyone (mostly). All you need to say. Brave Roy has the strength and speed that Eliwood wishes he could have, to kill enemys faster. That's why I think Eliwood is a forgotten hero in the game.

Takumi's my favorite character from the fire emblem series and I was so happy because I pulled him the first week of the game and he was my first 5 star. But then robin became meta and I'm a hypocrite cause I use robin too but I'm sad to not be able to use takumi ever again ;-;

I made Eliwood 5*. He's +spd and has db and sword breaker. Even without horse buffs he beats almost every sword unit and axe unit in 1 hit. If he doesn't tho... rip
