@@GameGodZERO I don't think that book 1 has a lot of story, it's just meet-fight-save over and over with a little story in between. Book 2 tho. Book 2 got a great story. It's rare for me to hate a villain, but I was invested enough to hate surtr. Sadly it went downhill from there. (Like holy shit, book 4 is such a clusterfuck wth)

@@angrypicture6155 whichbis why I said ignoring them lol Book 2 started great but they introduced too many characters they barely flesh out before killing about half of them. Laevatein has really great characterization set up if you read between the lines but the in book wiriting just makes her seem stupid and incapable of surviving on her own And Surtr is pretty generic af Imo book 4 was pretty good until the end with the more mind screwy stuff, like they spend half the book teasing that Peony is the real Sharena and the two switched places as children but nope just screwing with you. And the whole thing with Freyja making it out that Alfonse was killed in the real world but nope just acrewing with you. And also Mirabilis serving no purpose beyond her introduction, she barely even gets her backstory revealed before just vanishing and I hate it cause I loved her. But overall every book since 2 has been decently good, with 4 being the weakest just cause they seem like they couldnt settle on how they wanted the book's plot to go but the character build up for the fairies and their backstories is very well done imo

@@GameGodZERO my head canon is that book for is just loki disguising herself as the queen, giving the characters some drugs and they get high for a while before waking up again and nothing happened. But seriously, I really like book 2. Surtr is cliché af, but not in a bad way, the fire sisters are understandable characters and good lord I love helbindi. The scene where he faces surtr is great and it really upsets me in a good way, how the player is the only one witnessing his sacrifice.
