No one bats an eye at all the straight ships people enjoy, whether they're confirmed platonic or not, please don't put other people down just because they enjoy a same sex ship. Some of those "thirsty internet degenerates" could be actual LGBTQ+ people who happen to like the characters as well. It's not that they "have to be gay", it's just that some people like the characters together, just like other people do with their favorite straight pairings. You're totally entitled to your opinion of seeing them as friends of course, but that doesn't mean you have to shit on other people's opinions and call them "degenerates" just because they like a gay pairing. In any other support, if someone was injured in battle, Felix sounded, at most, irritated, but, in his and Sylvain's A+ support, he sounds downright furious at Sylvain for it. This is the most God Tier guy pairing I've seen since Sorey and Mikleo.

I played the Black Eagles route & recruited both of them from Blue Lions, during their second support which I did after the time skip Sylvain mentions how not much has changed, except how they don’t have their old friend Ingrid lording over them anymore It’s quite sad since they essentially left everything, their past lives & friends to join a cause they believed in but they still stuck by each others side, & obviously they fought Ingrid which was also very sad

I know this is an unpopular opnion but felix just strikes me as really toxic. Just an unpleasent person to be around that can always find a reason to be upset and insult whoever they come across. Sure, he has his issues but that is never an excuse to treat other people horribly and that's why I can't bring myself to like him. As a character, sure, but with a personality who constantly puts everyone else down, no way.

Felix honestly strikes me as a tsundere who is undergoing an identity crisis. A lot of his cold and curt tendencies is just him emulating his brother Glenn. I think that was his way of keeping his brother’s memory alive, but he’s carried on with it for so long that he doesn’t know himself anymore. He’s also suffered a lot of tragedy and has not been dealing with his grief properly. At the same time his grief has always come second to Dimitri’s. Rodrigue was obviously more focused on Dimitri’s grief than Felix’s, and even in Azure Moon itself the game focuses on Dimitri’s grief and not Felix’s (and Byleth themself focused on Dimitri instead of Felix). I’m not an expert on tsunderes by any means, but to me it’s obvious that Felix loves his friends and is absolutely terrified that he’s going to lose them. He also seems like someone who is scared of forming new bonds because he’s scared of losing more loved ones. But unfortunately, because he’s not been dealing with his emotional issues he ends up lashing out at the people who matter most to him.

But I think people are reluctant to say anything against it for that reason. It's not that I don't want people to feel represented, I'm just not a fan of wild headcanons for the sake of it, or effectively "overwriting" strong platonic relationships for the sake of shipping.
