No, it really depends on who Byleth's paired up with to be exact. For example, Manuela can be romanced on any route and in her paired ending it's always mentioned Byleth went to war with Those with Slither in the Dark and she became pregnant while they were fighting together.

nah... i think Byleth has kids in all of the route, most route just doesn't mention it maybe because it wasn't important to the character Byleth was partner with. Also why marry if you ain't gonna have kids (they could just be friends with benefits) because other than political reasons you want to have a heir where no one can challenge their legitimacy in the future and of course the gay routes will always be childless unless they adopt.

In CF, M!Byleth has children with Lysithea, Shamir, Dorothea, Manuela, and Hapi. F!Byleth has children with Sylvain, Lorenz, and Yuri. Outside of CF, the Byleths reproduce with Flayn and Dimitri, respectively.

I have this headcanon while Shamir says Byleth look like her previous partner. This is just a stupid idea but it is not confirm how the hell Rhea create a homunculus, i.e. byleth mother. I think she uses her own blood and a dead human body as genetic basis for creating her mother vessel. That woman can be someone from Dagda. Someone who is sister of shamir previous partner Please this all just a headcanon

This might be contrary to most other people's opinions in the comment section, but seriously...I just can't take this ship seriously. Why? Because there's just no sense of chemistry between Shamir and Byleth. It was all bland, and frankly...poorly-written. And I think it's because SHE was a poorly-written character to begin with. Don't get me wrong; design wise, she is sexy as hell, to the point where you could tell she would've been such a sexy badass character in of itself. Only, this bland and lifeless demeanor she had this entire time just doesn't match, if this makes sense? I know she's supposed to be this stoic, former mercenary, but even characters like THOSE can be much better written (Think James Bond). My issue is it's almost like her character was so forced and low-effort, that you can even tell the actress herself was having a difficult time matching the emotions of her acting with the character itself. Therefore, this ship had no chemistry or sense of yearning for the two of them. This was not thought out well beforehand, which at the end of the day is a letdown...

To make it easier for the OP, think of it this way... It can't be all good. For the colorful supports to shine, some bland ones like Shamir's simply have to exist.
