In the original SNES game I dreaded Death Wind 2 even more than Fire Field. But honestly with the tweaked boost arrow mechanics in F-Zero 99, DW2 actually becomes pretty fun.

The lines you made on Port Town 2 were beautiful and it was amazing how you contended with Aika. Wish the bumper worked out to see how you could tackle Red Canyon with 2 kos. But it worked out there instead with a free ko. The beginning of fire field to flex no you didn't 😭 . The gold bumper juke was nasty. The third lap was so chaotic with those green stingray bumps. I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT ENDING. The fact that bumpers accelerate into their turn is bs and almost unpredictable. Great gp all around!

I am still trying to get my first ever win with the Blue Falcon and the Wild Goose, it's so frustrating because I didn't know at first that you want to knock out all those achievements while your letter rank was real low, and now that I'm in the S tier, all my opponents are very good, and I have little to no chance at ever getting those victories.

FF stingray i have def learned to slow down in the pit bc it's incredibly dangerous. nice run otherwise. i think we've all been there when we are not the underdog and get wiped out. it is rough. farming 3 tickets is equivalent to about six races

Your start on FF doesn't really matter too much, as long as you show up in time to farm the golden bumper at the beginning of lap 2.
