Definitly buy a molex crimper! The HT225D crimper on amazon is only about $23 and it would make your machine better to resell. Since, you will be able to route the cables exactly where you want them. I've thought about building a case like this except totally sealed except for externally mounted water cooling radiators for the CPU and GPU. With weather proof connector couplers though the case (I'd have to shift the motherboard forward relative to yours and have short cables connecting the board to the ports mounted in the case).

Building one of these..found a 40mm can and a 50 can. Not sure which one to use. I dont plan on putting a huge graphic card on it. But a budget small one. Which ones should I go with?

Ay I was thinking of getting my moms laptop and making it a pc. With the pc shell being a ammo can. Everything is good just the screen is broken to shit and the basically the whole laptop shell is all busted up but all the internal stuff is good. Any suggestions on the ammo can and other stuff like making the usb slots and converting the screen wire to vgi is that possible. Do I keep the fan or get a new one.

I was planning to do something similar, thought it was an original idea, guess not :/ Nice job here, still going to press on with my project, nice to see it's doable.
