That was worth you getting up at 4:30 am for. I think the portrait shots work best, after all it is the sky that's the main point of interest. The hills and water just give the sense of scale without needing to draw the eye.

a good morn to be sure...am confused though..your description of settings shows 1/8 sec yet your camera shows 1/4000...am i reading your camera incorrect??

no i am sure there was a good reason, normally if i do a camera shot it may be pointing in a different direction from when i was shooting, if its b roll that is
