In 2012 end of October's full moon, Super Storm/Hurricane Sandy flooded those 'get away' beach houses, including mine at Rockaway Beach along the Long Island shore down to Coney Island. The mess took years to recover and the value of prices were dropped in more than halfs aftermath. Those houses are for summers, they would freeze to dead during the winters with those wooden type of ranches frame without a proper insulation, and even with thousands of heating cost a month. They are looking pretty during summers, but winters are a nasty and brutal wind you could get by the beach! Btw, thanks for sharing the colorful Fire Island and life events during summer pride!!👍
