Amen brother, I wept when I heard this song. It felt like he was singing for me. “Lord I forgive you, this music I give you, this pain that I live you, everything I’ve been through is yours to hold” doesn’t get better than that💛 I’ve struggled with epilepsy and ADD anxiety depression addiction psychosis. I lost my mom when I was 10 and it changed everything. But these last few months finding God, all these special people, and my love for music again. I’m at the place I didn’t see on my horizon line even 3 months ago. Thank you for this reaction, peace be with you 💛

It's not the acoustic that makes the track, it's his ability to act while singing speaking and playing that gets stripped away in studio. It's the same effect in Monsters by James Blunt when he recorded it on the first take singing it to his Dad with all the emotion. You can't fake that.

Ren hops into an Uber and the driver simply asks Ren, "Where to pal?" Ren starts singing: "Ohhh lordy now, troubles so hard!" and continues singing the rest of Troubles. ::Uber driver is totally confused but he continues to drive around in circles while Ren serenades him from his back seat. Hahaha
