12bit tv doesn’t exist, I have lg oled c1 and s90c 65” those panels are 10bit

I just got a Sony x90l, and im trying to figure out if my firestick 4k max needs to go in one of the 2.1, 4k, 120hz hdmi ports. It looks like Firesticks only support 60hz, so im guessing it's fine in one of the other hdmi ports?? Is there any real benefit for my firestick in a 2.1 hdmi port??

Late to the party, but yes. Just don't expect 4k picture. It will only be as good as the TV you're watching it on.

I just got the 4K fire stick. Set up was fine except I can't get any sound. I have tried everything but I need help.

Try to go to Settings, Display & Audio and Surround sound. If it's on a higher setting than your device allows, it won't play any sound.

My tip would be to get the Voice Remote Pro to go with it. The 2 programmable buttons are useful and the backlit buttons are a really nice addition. Plus you can ask Alexa to find your remote and it'll make a noise so you can find it - no more lost remote! I picked up the 4K Max and the remote in the Black Friday deals.

You should mention you are only providing tips for the version of Firestick 4K Max released in September 2023. Even if someone purchased one today, it is equally likely they purchased the older version since that is the one that goes on sale...

The only reason I have this is because it was included with my AWOL 3000Pro ust. I’ll use it occasionally much like the apps built in to any tv, but my Apple TV will continue to be superior and offer the best picture and nicest browsing and user interface.

What version of the Fire TV 4K Max does it need to be on to have the Ambient Experience? I personally have the Fire TV 4K Max and in the Home long press I don't see the option for the Ambient Experience. Would gladly appreciate your reply.

It has to be the one released in 2023. Not the first-gen Max.

Tere only reason to have this now for me is if you are using two ECHO's in cinema mode, that works really well and sound is great but the stick itself is garbage and the box thing doesnt even have gigabit lan. Never looked back since I moved to NVIDIA Sheild which has USB ports and gig lan.

IMO, the best tip and trick about the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is that it’s 100% returnable for something better, like a Roku Streaming Stick 4K, Google Chromecast 4K with Google TV, or Apple TV 4K 😅

Max isn’t worth it for Wi-Fi 6E. Get the new 4K non-Max (Wifi 6) stick they both support HDR and Dolby Atmos\Vision
