It is important to give credit to the person who started all this, Jaime Medina, a Mexican, a taco vendor, and his Mexican friends who also sold hot dogs. They started by bringing 600 hot dogs with which they fed police officers, people, and firefighters. They shared their stories on TikTok, the Latino community and many other communities joined them. In just a few hours they already had a million views. They have managed to mobilize thousands of people and have now created a majestic help movement that is now in Santa Anita Arcadia. I think it is important to give them recognition for having done this impressive work. In addition, they acted very quickly. They were among the first to react quickly to create a civil action for help. They started 4 or 5 days ago. They were in another place first and then they moved to Santa Anita because the help was so much. They said in a netizen interview, "We started with the Latino community, but everyone is welcome to come and help, no matter their race or origin." This civil response of rapid help is something deeply rooted in Mexican culture, and clear examples of this can be seen in the 2017 earthquake in Mexico City.

I heard This mexican man Jaime Medina started it all this, I think he sells tacos, or something like that so he tock the initiative to bring food to the police and firefighters he bring them hot dogs, and later shared on his tiktok and now this man has mobilized a super amount of help!!!!! I t started with a big Latino community mobilizing and later more and more people added. God bless everyone helping, and God bless this man for this amazing and outstanding contribution.

Where i live they give out free food every month and you drive your vehicle along as they load up your car or truck with different things. Its amazing how many cars and trucks look brand new. When my house burned down by the time I was able to get to the donation center everything was already taken by people who weren't even residents of the area and we're applying for housing that were from Redding California and the Fire Relief were for people in Jackson County Oregon

We lost our home in a fire in 2023, including our beloved pet. The house was almost a total loss but losing our pet in such a horrific way was far more painful than everything else. I cried myself to sleep for a week. I would rather have lost everything I owned if it meant saving him. Having someone to take care of your pet when you don't have a home is also a huge stress reliever especially when so many places (temporary housing) don't allow you to have animals.

Every little bit of support helps. A toothbrush, a pair of socks, non-perishable food, etc. All of it helped us even if it seems small. Thank you for listening to my story. The house is almost halfway rebuilt and I'm hoping we can move back in the next 6 months
