im 59 have been outdoor cooking since 1975. have you ever played with a pyromid stove?
@larryn83 жыл бұрын
Watching a Pyromid stove video (link below), it said it should last about 25 times. That would not be a viable backpacking stove for me. Maybe good for a Go-Bag. However, in the video which was also marketing a solid fuel similar to Esbit, but does not smell, nontoxic, environmentally friendly and will not harm wildlife and will burn approximately 18 min. That sounds interesting. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYm1gWqLYtuDia8

any tips on finding a good camping spot. how off the road do you usually go?
@fireboxstove6 жыл бұрын
It really depends on what I am doing. If I am backpacking I go off road a ways to find a remote beautiful lake. If I am car camping we are sometimes close to the road and sometimes a ways out. I check with the local Forrest service on good places to go and look at maps to search out what looks interesting. Most of the sport is that adventure to find a new spot no one knows about. Thanks for watching Adam R.
