Once in a Lifetime Camping! A Secluded Beach to Ourselves! Fishing, Hiking Firebox Stove Cooking
Our best family camping trip to date! Upon our arrival we felt lucky to visit such a place then slowly became a part of it. We were fully immersed in the supreme majesty of both landscape and wildlife. All five senses engaged by all five natural elements. Everyone of us living in the same moment, together. Fully enjoying our surroundings and one another. A truly shared wilderness experience we will all think back on for the rest of our lives.
Sometimes we need to break away from the distractions of modern society, spend some special time together to remember who we all are and why we love each other so much. Camping together gives us a chance to work together and also to serve each other. This trip was very good for our family unity. I hope we can do it more often!
For those who are new to my channel, I'm Steve,
a natural-born inventor and over-thinker who loves to camp. I enjoy puzzling out camping solutions that make the process as enjoyable as the result. I believe that a well-designed product can be a pleasure to use.
In an effort to promote my products, I started making KZbin videos some 10 years back. At first, mostly presentations, product testing and instructional videos. I did have some camping videos but they were more "presented" back then. Then, at the start of one of my solo trips, I decided I just wasn't in the mood for so much talking. I decided to just bring the camera along but not say much. People really loved that video and it was nice for me to just do my thing while recording. I no longer felt the need to explain once I realized everyone could see for themselves. By taking this approach I could relax and enjoy my wilderness experiences the way I always had. A definite win win! Viewers started saying "I feel like I'm there with you" and occasionally referred to me as the "Bob Ross of camping videos". Generous complements which encourage me to always work towards improving my video's and product's.

I like that biscuit baking set-up there. Very nice. Great way to have biscuits and gravy. Get the kids hooked on fishing and you won't have to worry about where your kids are and what they're up to. Ash and Juni make for great camp dogs too. Good times right there.

One of these days I will finally do my YT channel and will have to trade recipes for you. I do all sorts of different cooking styles. Besides just different types of cuisine, I also do light weight camp cooking for hiking and car camping stuff. I have been working on recipes for a while now and have 200+ written down and kind of worked out for camping specifically. Just gotta film and edit now which is a pain in the butt. Just had my in-laws here from Utah and cooked for them. Hopefully I will be able to film out there for a few dishes.
