Is this better than just equipping a padawakang with fire bombard 3's on all sides with bombard works for 19% extra damage etc? And what would you say was the best loadout for a ship to go round quickly collecting pieces of 8 from manufactories?

Best pieces of 8 ship, if you can get it, is the brig, its got a major speed advantage. And, no, probably not, i would say the barge equipped like this dominates in the small ship category, but the medium ships are not comparable to the small ships.

I have a brig, so let's say I want to spruce it up to make it best prepared for a long trip collecting the Po8 from around the map, what would be the best way to set it up with furniture and weaponry etc to fend off attackers but also get around fast?@@Dare_To_Game
