I have only one Thing about the Guide Not beeing entirely correct The ships Don t Just have 3/4 gun Ports They have 7/8 gunports but only 3/4 of them are Top Deck which means If you use bombards/ Longguns on broadside you only use Top Deck slots but Kulverines and Demi cannons use ALL Slots Please keep that in mind For the future because for some ships that actually matters a Lot 😅 Same is true to some ships Frontal and Back gun ports the sambuk for example has 6 gun Slots in the Front If i remember correctly but only two in top Deck which means 2 Bombards or for example 6 Kulverines. Those Things do Change your DPS a Lot :) still for now Bombards are pretty disgusting and need a damage Nerf or the other weapons respektive damage increases Bombards should be strong in a Padewakang because she ist meant to Run them but they should not be as strong on brigantines as they are

Laughs in Sambuk fire build. The Sambuk and the Snow may be slower but they eat the Brigantine. Brigantine is great for cutthroat treasurenand other PvP modes where it's ideal to outrun your foes.

If you don't want brig Sambuk with any Flamethrower/Sea Fire II or better, Fire Bombard II or III and your choice of either Torpedoes or Long Guns for the rear (or repair weapon if you play with teammates) with Leopold III or Mortar III. The furniture you want is all to extend the damage and range of your bombards and sea-fire with the scrapper station to allow you to heal on a vulnerable hit.

I agree. It's its own game, if people wanted Black Flag, go play Black Flag. There's no hand to hand combat when boarding for a reason, it would slow the gameplay down and your ship would get blown to hell by others. It's very enjoyable once you get into it and realise it is it's own thing and not some Assassins Creed spinoff show.

How was it not better? If you’re breaking sails then it does good once you can start loading fire on them. Hearing Brigantine is the best option was an instant this guy doesn’t research. Yes you can repair the sails the first time but I’m going to follow up and then the speed of Brigantine means nothing. Plus anyone that’s been playing a while can nail you with the bombards even if you have the speed you’ll only outpace the mortars. The brigantine takes too much damage then and the brace gets demolished quick.

Also, the hullbreaker negates 80% of torn sails effect... does that have a cooldown? I was unaware of the Bullhorn attribute or the boat perks had cooldowns. Interested to hear from you.

Anyone who says Brig is best PvP doesn't actually PvP. Brig is the best for any mission like Cut-throat Cargo, Double or Nothing etc where you want to be faster than everyone. Most brigs run torpedoes, bombards or Demis so they're not really doing PvP well. If a Snow comes, it's just gotta brace and tank the shots from the Brig, and if a Sambuk comes then the brig has to run away and keep a good gap.

I actually like this game and can't believe there were/are so many negative videos about it. Those videos nearly made me not even buy this but the company was smart enough to give us an 8 hr demo which actually got them my money.. I don't know if it's a ps5 thing or what but a lot of these games come out with no demo at launch and to me that always says one of 2 things, either they are convinced their game is superior enough to not need a demo, or they are scared the demo will reduce purchases.. I just want to tip my hat to any ubi employee for doing the demo because it was absolutely the right move, especially when a lot of us missed the beta and youtube was displaying a crap ton of negative videos about this game on my feeds.. I cam to the conclusion that many of those negative videos were a bunch of whiners who wanted something from another assassins creed game put into this game, something about boarding the ship and fighting. What those morons don't realize is the difference between a live multiplayer game and a single player game. The bandwidth required to pull off what single player games do is just not feasible. Besides, I probably would have hated having to board and fight on other ships because the controls when walking around are wonky as fk on ps5 controllers.. But, I will say that is not the case with a mouse/kb.. I tried both and there is a much smoother movement with m/kb for sure. Not to mention that on ps5 you have to run the game in performance mode because I don't think it runs correctly otherwise. At least not on my setup which I believe is a 4k t/v 60 hz/fps. When I swapped it to the performance mode, the game ran much smoother but obviously looks much worse. I hope they can rectify that issue. Again, this obviously won't affect people on pc gaming machines.. It's just like every other game at launch these days where it has a decent core to the game that can be expanded on over time. I find as I inch into my mid 40s, games barely have the ability to keep me playing them for longer than a few hours but this game the first night I played the demo 2 nights ago, I began to play it then next thing I knew it was 6am and the 8 hrs demo timer was up lol. The following night I played another 8 hrs.. Games haven't been able to hold my attention like this in 20 years.. I hope they really expand this game. I kind of liked the bounties and pve stuff. There are some things they can change though.. I find that calling for help does nothing.. I think if they did those bounties a bit different so if someone was starting to fight one, it just sends out a message to players in the area so they can go help and everyone can split the loot. So kind of like diablo 4 where as soon as players enter into the event area, all players are getting xp and loot. I am not sure if that is how they set these bounties up.. When I did one last night I was the only one killing the bounty, got him 3/4 dead then I died, when I went back someone else killed it and I saw the orange loot floating there but I was too far away to pick it up, I am still unsure if I got all the loot from the kill or if I just got the bounty mission loot.. Like I said, I only been playing a few days.. I think they can add some more rare loot, a carrot to chase if you will.. Like he mentioned in the video about the green guns being better.. I think they should tier the loot with colours just like other games do so you know what's the best stuff by colour..So in this case, the green guns wouldn't be the best option but as he said in the game, they are.. It's counter to what most rpgs style games do and could be confusing. Over all I like the game and I don't regret the cost of purchase, unlike many many games over the last 5 years that have had triple A pricing but garbage games.. Thanks for the video.. It's funny because I actually run the same setup and play style as you were detailing in the video except I am not high enough to own that ship, but it's coming next.. I am in the padewakang or how ever it's spelt.. Actually, If I could make one suggestion to the devs, I would ask them to reduce that wind affect on the rank 2 and lower ships. I could see that deterring a lot of new players. I found the aiming a touch wonky as well with the waves bouncing the ship around as well. Perhaps a slight tweak to those effects to reduce the impact on the player's aim might be an idea. I only say that because I play on ps5 with a controller, the aiming for us older former pc gamers who are used to a mouse is on the better side of crap for some of us. I did play this with a mouse and keyboard and ran it through my pc monitor, I found the whole game 100x better with a keyboard and mouse but due to severe arthritis in my spine, I can't sit at a pc anymore.. I know I am less than 1% of the games population and honestly those comments about some changes wouldn't even be on other gamers radars..

I still prefer Snow with Skurlocks long 9's that cost 1k gold rum on 1 side Darnells on other side, mortar Aux and another bombard front with ramas torps rear, I find the Sambuk requires more than 2 ships to set its AOE fire off, as for snow use speed food goes upto 12-14 knots. but soon as you PVE ships doing the squid coin run, slow down to two aim up bombards, mortar and they die usually before you get there, its like Juggernaut from Xmen you just keep smashing through

My Sambuk sets off the fire AoE regardless. Is it broken? Is it not supposed to do it? I mean, they'll be one ship and I melt him, then hear it go off as it has a distinctive sound. If it's in open sea then no harm comes to anything, but even if there's a territory within range, they'll even start shooting at me because of the said AoE damage.

Moreover, yes, it does 5k regardless, BUT for PvP...? I will happily admit that even with that damage, the Snow is the King ship. Those ships are built for whatever. My son had the new Sea Monster just bounce off of him. He's had Brigs just ram him full speed with furniture and nothing. Those ships are built for war. Also, you could never count Beta for ANY game. With that said, did you mean 2 weeks? Lol, the game has only been out for a month. 😊

What is your opinion on the Zamzama III? I use fore bombard III on port sode and on the stern, but Zamzama on starboard side, it's very powerful close range especially in PvP just in case someone gets too close, it's basically an incendiary SPAS-12 shotgun. It also sets ships on fire with Ablaze so it can work well with Sambuk

I waited 10 years for this game. Black Flag got me SOO hooked on Naval warfare I ended up being addicted to World of Warships and WT Naval. What I love about this game is it isn't a PvP only arena game loaded with P2W mechanics. I was leery of buying this game on release due to the negativity around the development cycle, BUT, they had a free trial. Bought the game after only three hours. I hope they continue support and add on more BOOM-BOOM-BOATS! I hope and pray they introduce more sailing areas as well as a Man-O-War! That would be tits man! I have been using Bombard weapons since I could. Just upgraded to a Brig. So that is Bombard 2 on sides, Mon Meg 2 in the front and Bombard 3 for rear, with a mortar 1 in the center. It's all I can build atm, as I need more materials. But I can say this..... it's a very deadly build. My furnishings are very different than yours. Seeing how I am using bombards... I use the +19% Bombard damage, +10% bombard burst radius, repair 1% critical ship damage per second, Mortar radius +10%, and 10% damage to front guns. With Abyssal 1 armor. This build does the job atm, and its only level 8. I have a question about ramming...... Do I need to hold brace as I impact? or will the ram damage be the same either way?

Royal Custodian give you 35% dammage reduction basiclly for 12 sec so if you spawn 20sec heal CD it shine , use a 40sec one 50% hp if you in trouble.

Yes, this is currently the best build until we get a patch. However, i run this ship with flood demis due to its ram perk. Its pretty fun, got to mix it up to keep the game entertaining. And i do prefer my bombards on the padawa due to its perk, in aoe and convoy gameplay it shines very well

I prefer the snow, most of the PvE content is fighting a bunch of helm, and fortresses, sure speed is nice but the brace is a major let down plus when I trim with brig I don't always get much difference than the Snow

one huge mistake in this build guide is that the ships have upper and lower gunports, but you only get to use the lower gunports if you equips weapons from the "all decks" category, ie. culverins or demi . where the brigantine gets to have 4 guns at the bow and 8 on its broadside, making basilisk 3 a very very good weapon to equip on both bow and broad on it, this increase in cannon count also makes the mega horn buff trigger much faster and stay up at max stack easier.

Honestly each ship is unique and has special abilities. Technically the Hulk tier 1 ship can actually brace more then the Snow tier 5 for example. The Sambuk is definitely the best ship so far but each ship has a special playstyle. You say Brigantine is better since it can outrun damage unlike the Snow who has to stay and fight which is true until your doing content that requires you to stay in an area so Bracing damage is better in this case etc

I got super lucky and got Black Prince armor hull by doing a legendary cargo hunt. I dont know drop chance but I assume getting it from the treasure chest is rare so that is an alternative option if getting the Sovereigns is too much

When fighting with boss ships, they turn Immune, as far as I know, we need to atack red areas of ships at that time to remove Immunity but with fire Bombards, sniping is very hard. for that I'm thinking to get a sniping weapon at least on front side to manage that. I wish it was easier to get hold of the precision drilling bits. Even with a brigantine and a good loadout, it's too hard to take on their forts solo, plus they bring in their high level ships pronto, which decimate me everytime. i disagree. while this is good for kiting stuff like crew attacks can really boost your dps and make you a more formidable foe in pvp encounters as it not only does massive damage but allso stuns your opponent out of their weapons for a brief moment while your weapons are reloading so you use your DPS more effectively while your opponent will loose some of his dps

The other 2 weapons are your choice or situational, I like that fire bombard in rear mostly and termites for aux. Just what I've been using and I heal a lot and with bracing I very rarely die weapons aren't the most dps but those crew attacks take huge chunks

Just a thought here, try switching out the front fire bombard 3 with the Dardanelles gun bc the special perk on that lets you fire all of your weapons simultaneously at the same target.

Maybe it's a bug, but for me it never made a difference if i use either water skins or water barrels. I tried it on every ship i have, and the only ship i didn't make yet is the one you buy at the black market. For example with the brig, both water items make me go 20 kts with full wind, so i just use water skins since they're like half the price and give me the same boost atm. Maybe they'll fix this eventually, until then I'll stock the barrels in my warehouse

The brigantine is good for speed but overall for philippe next week my sambuck should go hard ive been using long guns but I'll give fire bombards a go with my scurlocks long nines and see if i can set up the 12,000 damage combo basically i use my scurlocks and get the 4 shots in swap to my fire weapon to apply ablaze once ablaze is applied i swap back to my long nines and break the sail when done correctly i hit 12,000 damage 5,000 from applying ablaze 7,000 from breaking the sails with the long nines and a 50% damage boost plus the fire damage it cant work in pvp though as everybody just runs

For me i have just upgraded the 6 outpost right at Saint Anne. Currently all at lvl 8 so there working for 12 Hours means i just have to log in twice a day for 10 minutes, grab the Stuff and log out. All the other Outposts chilling with a full inventory all the time since im way too lazy to sail for Hours just to collect all outposts. Its not the most effective way in Gaining Po8 but since the Shop is already so limited all i have left in the Blackmarked are cosmetics. Remember you have 90 Days to grab everything and with that rate i finish the shop in around 40 Days.

Don't be stuck on speed because if you gotta fight rogues the smaller one hit like a brick no matter what you got. Fave tank for the win lol

these are the daredenalles bombards you can buy for 350 sovereigns at the black market insane DPS but harder to hit then the fire bombards so you're DPS can go down by alot

Great minds think alike however i chose snow sure i have three of the medium ships but i prefer snow considering the end game stuff i do dont require me to out runner my opponents meaning i dont do the cutthroat heist etc but what i do is the other events the blue ones and i do hostile takeovers which you don't need speed for that either because they have to stay in tge circle in order to have a chance to capture it. Sure the snow has one less side cannons and one less furniture fair enough but thats okay when you setup a heal dps build now i do love the fire bombards lvl 3 however ill be using the dardanelles on my sides and maybe scurlocks long nines in the front and back why because ive noticed the end game stuff and players do have fire resistance not saying they can't take any fire damage but it just seems they do have negations or at least the stuff ive been fighting at least. Either way ill still be using my fire bombards alot as well. I cant wait to unlock the sea beast armor that one will be perfect for my build. See ive always been a heavy support role in the games meaning a tank dps i love being on the frontlines mowing down my enemies. Example max out my tanky defense while using like a light machine gun and max out as much damage as possible with either perks or attachments etc.

No, the first medium ship has 6 broadside ports.4 bow and 4 stern The extra cannons are if you use the non top deck cannons, I find top decks a waste on the side. You cant really tell how many shots a ship has enless looking at it. But yet brig has the best cannon loadout

the snow is great ship better then any ship in the game speed really does not help you as ai cheat sometime to catch up to you so want to be able to take a as much dmg as possible you can solo any content with the snow as for this ship you cant really solo late game as it cant take the dps npcs do to you in the late yes speed is nice but not for ai that has aimbot and shoot at you godlike aim just saying

This build works only against noobs who are trying to escape and not to fight. In a case where your opponent is aggressive you gonna lose because this build cannot have good DPS and Brace simultaneously. However, Demi-cannons or Torpedos can. I prefer Torpedos as it is more interesting to play with. The hardest build to fight with is this new cannons build + crew attack build. And to this Bombard build I lost only once for the last couple of days, and only because the guy was really good at positioning.

sry to say because you put a lot of work in this but it really is not the best you can aim for by far yes dps wise fire bombardes are best but you should combine them with more burn accumulation and the unique that increase burn time by 100% it helps a lot especially with the burn ship with the "speed" ship you should aim for way different items you will loose every pvpv fight with this loadout by far in the regular content that is pvp right now and pve sieges etc there is a way better option than this loadout this is way bettter: scullos canons in every direction - done you might ask why because everyone uses speed ships this one does way more dmg than the bombarde does because it does 7000 bonus dmg everytime a sail breaks. and the speed ships instzantly repairs broken sails then you almost instantly destroy it again and agaion you melt every pvp ship in seconds for helpfull stuff you should pick the 300% accelaration one noone will match your speed in pvp if you outrun them and your weapon break sails which instantly sops every movement the mortar is the same it is unmatched so if you want only dps pyro ship with flamethrower front + fire accumulation owns but for the content right now speed ship with 4 scullos canons that can be bought by him after you complete his story and no one can live long against this

I'm not trying to be rude so I apologize if that's how it came off. Twins, 2x Dards on the sides, Leo 3, Scurlocks LG on back. Scope furniture (for twins), Multiplier 19x for Dards, Projectile speed, Mutliplier 19x for Mortar, Trim reduction furniture. The cool factor is the twins with scope. Doubles the weakspot output on marked target and as long as you maintain 320+ away it's clapping. Try this on a siege tower for easy weakshot hits to test it. You'll see the first shot hit around 11k but the second will hit 20+ sometimes 30+ @@gamediario3579
