Our economy struggling with uncertainties, housing issues, foreclosures, global fluctuations, and pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.

In particular, amid inflation, investors should exercise caution when it comes to their exposure and new purchases. It is only feasible to get such high yields during a recession with the guidance of a qualified specialist or reliable counsel.

True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, opposed to my previous performances, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diverssify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of $350k...that's like 7times more than I average on my own.

51:57 They had the best plan to save this country and bring back growth. Like he said, their speed of execution was too high. We can't survive as an economy if tax keeps going up. Reduce taxation, reduce government spending, sensible regulation, use monetary policy for price stability, increase international trade and the result is a booming economy. Back to the gold standard or to the BTC standard. No CBDCs please, God save us.

I turned 40 today. I meet with 2 financial advisors earlier this year who estimated my net worth between 1.6 and 1.8 mil. I live in the middle of nowhere, work a bluecolor job in a very poor state, have an associates degree from a votec school. Anyone can do what I did. Most of my net worth is my 401k. The next chunk is my paid off house. I haven't had debt in years and live well below my means. I dont lose sleep over the housing market or stock market swinging.

I lived with my Mother ( I paid her rent). During this time I also paid off my $15K student loans and $18K Jeep. Now I have zero debt, still making over $100K and able to focus on building wealth via investments, etc

I was very much enjoying this interview until Mr Kwarteng decided that Reform were to blame for Labour getting a majority . No , Mr Kwarteng , the Conservatives are to blame and only the Conservatives because if they had done what they were voted in for and pledged in their manifesto's to do then there would be no need for Reform and the Conservatives would still be in power . It infuriates me when people think and say that we should just settle for the least worst between Labour and Conservative . NO .

Likewise in USA, the WEF need one of their own to run the country. That’s why Trump was denied a second term and that explains why there are assassination attempts on his life. They will do everything they can to ensure Harris gets in so that they can continue with their agenda. That’s also the reason why they want a war with Putin because he is like Trump in that they cannot buy or control him.

I think no one really knew who he was and next thing he was chancellor. If people dont know you, dont believe or trust you then they will not support you when poo is hitting the fan with the markets reactions to there policies. I think what he was doing was right when he was Chancellor but like he said they did it too fast. Certainly alot better than what labour and Reeves are doing now which will create a doom loop.

@@jeezy8360 He needed to be with Boris not Leeze. Sunak better with Leeze the conservative govt got it mixed up. Anyway the Economy Debt is spiralling out of control and he tried to fix it. But the Leveraged Geared City and Institutions wanted More against Innovation. One-day the west will be indebted to other free dept nation's and will eighter cause Wars or use world bank to chases other non debt nation's. Just hope those Nation's don't use A.i to fight back.

Well that means gutting the one nation caucus. They don’t believe in anything other than power not a governing philosophy. If Badenoch wins which looks likely the tories need to slowly faze them out, when they openly refuse to support a right wing leader that’s everything you need to know about them

Kwasi is OK compared to others, but just listening to these people speak you can clearly see they have been privileged with limited exposure to many of life’s hardships, and therefore no true understanding of the severity of the situation we are currently living through; not just with regard to the economy and demographics, but war and violence being “closer than the jugular vein”.

His budget was sabotaged by the Bank of England. On Wednesday 21st September 2022, the US Federal Reserve raised the Federal Funds Rate by 0.75%. On Thursday 22nd September 2022, the Bank of England raised the Bank Rate by only 0.5%. At this point a devaluation of sterling against the US dollar was baked in. Currency traders don't take up a position ahead of a government financial statement, so currency traders had a whole day to set up their trades, but it wasn't until after the budget on Friday 23rd September that they pressed the button and sterling devalued. The insurance companies held gilts which, if held to redemption, would cover their liabilities, but when gilt prices fell due to higher interest rates, in the short term they wouldn't. The Bank of England could have temporarily suspended the need to mark to market, but it chose not to do so.

Spoke to kk in 2016 having heard much of his previous commentary, books, wanting his predictions after brexit vote. His understanding on the inauthenticity of academia, including economics taught, places him among the few whom can be entrusted, esteemed enough to advise and to direct the economy. Has sensible economic philosophy.

How can even suggest he wasn’t aware of pensions exposure to interest rates and long term gilts and the fact that pension fund managers borrow to gear their gilt investment? How can he really say that, it makes him look stupid or reckless.

the welfare state cannot go on as it is, we now have multi generational benefits where kids are growing up never seeing an adult go to work so they just end up doing what they see. leave school maybe try a term at college, maybe get a job for 6 months a year but they are totally feckless and so are the parent/s so they arent pushed. if the rent is always paid and you have never worked yourself why would you put pressure on your son or daughter to get a job. they will either get pregnant or convince themselves they have anxiety and depression, the catch all term, no treatment plan just signed off forever, they put their name on a housing list, that is all they know, there isn't the idea of flat sharing or renting, they will just sit and wait to be given one. you then fall into smoking cannabis or spend all day eating junk, no one cooks, it is all oven pizza, takeaways Pringles etc. that is why the obesity is so bad we now have illegal immigrants on electric bikes delivering junk food to people too lazy to work single mothers living a completely sedentary life, I have neighbours who i have never seen dressed, the live in their PJs and just put a coat on and Crocs to go out. we have single mothers who will be single at 18 and continue to have kids into their 40s but will strangely always be single

While i agree that is bad, how about the mass amount of people that come to this country and get everything free? At least if you didn’t have the extra people coming the problem would be half as bad. I think it proves the point that if the government really wanted to they could easily end homelessness. If you can house 10’s of thousands of illegal immigrants you can easily house the homeless
@gruunt4064

@@theenglishpotato4577 you cannot easily end homelessness because homelessness isn't just about giving someone a home. many are homeless because they are living chaotic lives. drink, drugs etc. you need to deal with the addiction. there are plenty cases where they have been given a home and end up back on the street because they cannot handle the responsibility of bills etc..., they reject hostels because they would need to give up drink or drugs, also you need to give them all sortsof support and take into account neighbours, as someone who lives beside these type of people they can be a real hard work, old furniture gets thrown in the street, dogs barking all the time, fights with other addicts etc
