FIRED UP!

After hours of playing with cables and sorting out drivers and programs and such I got the simulator setup up and running. I'll be sure to get some better footage and play some cooler stuff eventually - I've got a lot of cool stuff going on the next few days so I have to take a break from computer things. Thanks for all the positivity on the last video - and I'm sorry this is so late! Tomorrow's video will make up for it :)

Hey Adam, you may be able to tuck that Barracuda hard drive near the power supply under that cover, should be a hard drive caddie there. So it will not show on either side and will allow you to use the back glass.

You need to install all the drivers for the motherboard and graphics cards. You also need to flip the radiator around so the tubes are on the right so they arent as tight and putting loads of tension on the motherboard. it will also look cleaner

You should consider to place the CPU fan/radiator in the front off the case, your cpu will be around 10°C colder. + its also better for the graphics card. So cold air inn from the front, and warm air out from back and top.

Now its set up right way. You clearly don't know what you are talking about. If you put radiator front sucking/exhausting warm air in/out, where you are getting cold air for GPU's? a. Back. b. Top. c. Bottom. d. Front. Right answer is d. Front. Cold air coming from front, warm air exhausts from back and top. (Air gets warm when its going trough radiator, and water inside radiator gets colder). You just can't have radiator at the front warming all sucked air (would be so stupid). Conclusion: Keeping radiator top exhausting warm air outside. Keeping 2 fans at front sucking cold air in for Graphic cards, motherboard, ram and radiator. Its now best as it can be. I clearly know what i am talking about, otherwise i would not have any brain cells. It's also common sense.

after reading this just realized that i must of miss read the comment as you are correct even on water cooled gpu its better to suck from the front as will always have clear air flow where as top dont always mine currently is all air cooled and has 2 front intake 1 top exhaust and 1 rear exhaust so equal pressure but actually positive as the fronts have higher air flow than the rest

Aletzr You clearly don't know what your talking about. When using a aftermarket graphics card it is a must to place the radiator in the front for optimal cooling of the CPU. This way the CPU is always getting fresh air while top and rear fans exhaust hot air from the front radiator. The aftermarket gpu will take care of itself due to it design of dumping all hot air into the case, not taking any in. The only time that placement of the CPU radiator doesn't matter is if a reference gpu design is used.

If you didn't install them you're probably running on the outdated Windows 10 drivers and it will in fact effect performance. The hard drive fits if you place it upside down. An SLI brigde is often included with the motherboard, and you'll find it in the box.

Depends which game u play. Even if u have a force feedback wheel, depends on the game. For example Assetto Corsa reacts more like the real life counterpart vs Forza which isn't as realistic. It does prepare you for real life, if you can drift in these games, you're prepared for real life, you'll need to polish yourself in the real world to get better.

Adam LZ You need to really play with the settings to find your most comfortable setting. your wheel is probably set at 900° rotation which is like a workout drifting because you have to turn it all the way trying to counteract the force feedback. I suggest turning down your force feedback and wheel rotation to make it easier. I use 360° rotation with my Logitech G920.

I bought a pre built PC and upgraded my case to this one. I had such a hard time with the hard drive and getting the cables flush and the glass on. Then realized from the numerous pc build videos, 8 could actually screw in the hard drive to the bracket. Just had to remove the 4 pins.

Don't use the radiator (AIO) as exhaust! If you do so you are using the hot air to cool your cpu! If you put that on the front you get fresh air. If you did that because the fans didn't match up you can always change the fans.

Hey adam, you can use a cheap flight joystick to turn into a handbrake! Just take off the top part with the handle and put on a aluminium tube with some bmx grips on the top. I did it too and it really completes the whole drift setup imo.

+Adam LZ your case should have some drive bays for hard drives or SSDs. Traditionally, only the SSD is mounted on the side of the case, which you don't have one but for future reference mount the SSD on the side of the case. It's mainly just preference because I'm working with a NZXT Phantom 410 and I really don't have a spot on the side to mount an SSD. Also, when doing cable management, be sure that not everything is super tight, that will put stress on your wires and will eventually break them! Do a tug test on every wire, not a super hard tug just a little tug to make sure that there is a little bit of slack for each one. Mount the barracuda in a drive bay, it's easier and looks cleaner.

if you look up other builds in the Corsair 570X you notice that all of the hard drives like your Barracuda are mounted upside down, so the bottem green PCB part will be visible through the glass. That also creates more clearance so your sidepanel will fit

You also have too much positive pressure in the case with 5 fans pulling air in, I would get a 140mm rear exhaust fan at least, and if you want to, it wouldn't change the cooling performance, flip the two rad fans to push air out.

I have a 570x too. For the hard drives all u had to do is put it in backwards and the back panel fits

Heat rises so flip those fans around on the top radiator to have them blowing up and out. You case will be much cooler. Your room on the other hand, yeah, that will be hotter.....lol

Don't know if you ever got it fixed but your Seagate drive is installed wrong that's why the glass won't fit. The Seagate sticker should be facing inward.
