This appears to be a burnout operations where a line is established, either by its construction or along a road, and fuels are burned out between that line and the fire. This is so sad the people losing homes firemen hurt an killed and the poor animals 😭🌈
@joevignolor4u9494 жыл бұрын
Actually, animals do fairly well during a forest fire. They have inherited survival instincts that they use to avoid the fire and stay alive. Small animals like mice, chipmunks, rabbits and skunks live underground anyway so they just retreat down into their burrows and wait for the fire to pass by. Larger animals like dear, elk, moose, fox and bears just move out of the way. Unfortunately, humans build large, stationary above ground homes in the forest and so moving out of the way sometimes requires evacuating by driving through the fire to escape it.

@Make America Great Again I didn't say that no animals were ever harmed in a forest fire. Did I say that? Why don't you go back and read what I said again. All I said was that they fair better during a forest fire than many people think because they have developed survival instincts that help them to survive wild fires. It's just like they develop instincts to help them avoid getting eaten by predators, although sometimes they still do. And why don't you "please stop" trying to win arguments by insulting other people and stick to the facts instead.

God how scary it must be to see that everywhere you turn, to be boxed in by fire in moments, to lose your way.... im from AZ and we had a large groùp of firefighters die, 19 of them in their crew, after they were suddenly boxed in by forest fire iñ a small valley area where the fire somehòw moved so quickly that it completely encircled them in minutes leaving them with no way out. It was only a few years ago I think. It broke my heart and the hearts of so many in their small town area. All 19 were younger, were parents of younger kids, some had pregnant wives left behind. The entire crew perished huddled together under their fire shelter blanķèts, and to this day I still think of them and how scary that must have been. No one could get to them in time. They were the ĢRANITE MOUNTAIN HOT SHOTS, a specialized forestry fire team that traveled to fight fires in other states as well. It was the YARNELL HILL FIRE in yavapai countý az. It always hurts when those thàt devote their lives to helping, saving, anď protecting the rest of us, lose their own lives in the process. Good, selfless, courageous ķind people are getting hàrder and harder to come by these days, we neeď every single one of them, and their knowledge, in order to find and then traiñ the next generations of first responders, or we will all end up in trouble.

If there is any decency/justice left at all in our society, the people responsible for this, the people who organized and held the gender reveal party with a pyrotechnic device in the middle of a dry field, will A. require at least one of the people responsible spend the rest of their life in prison and B. require that the rest of the people involved be 100% financially responsible for every single cent that fighting this fire has cost and the damage it has caused. Most likely mandating garnishing their wages for the rest of their miserable lives! we can only hope, I sure am. BTW, why are those responsible not being publicly shamed with their faces widely shown on EVERY news station for the last couple weeks? These fools should not be allowed to leave their house without being chastised every moment they are in public!
@joevignolor4u9494 жыл бұрын
This will be a matter for the courts to decide according to the law. What the people at the gender reveal party did was not arson as starting the fire was not intentional. However, what they did may have been negligence but that may only apply to the damage that was done to the park they were in. At some point the DA might decide to present the case to a grand jury to seek an indictment possibly leading to criminal charges and a trial. Time will tell.

The Indians used to clean up the forest. We need wood chippers and bags.

Climate was a lot wetter 100 years ago. People cooked with all the dead brush, if that is what you mean by cleaned up.

A family had a gender reveal party in a park surrounded by dry brush. They used a smoke bomb to do the reveal & it malfunctioned. So sad...

Was this the one that was caused by a gender reveal?
@Orcinus19674 жыл бұрын
Details are sketchy as to exactly HOW these idiots used a smoke bomb to set a very dry area on fire, during the filming (I guess) of a gender reveal. Approximately 1 week after the Apple Fire ripped through the same area. Authorities know who and how the fire started. And have known. Now that someone has died as a result, I imagine they will be prosecuted. The fire is not out yet. If the Santa Anna winds pick up, the town of Big Bear could go up. So they may be waiting for a final tally in businesses lost, homes destroyed, livestock lost, and firefighters killed before taking these idiots to court.
