Wish my health would have let me continue to do what i love more than anything in this world,people consider firefighters as heros but to us it's just a job,there's nothing else we would want to do.

Thanks Emma but were not hero's, were just people doing our part for society

We are not Heroes. We're just like everybody else. And we don't do it for the glory or to live like Legends. We are Ordinary People that chose to protect others nothing more.

Freaking proud of my father who is a first responder. He is gone on holidays and birthdays. He almost never makes it home in time for dinner. He has the possibility of getting cancer because of the smoke that he is often exposed to. And of course there is that one scary thought that no one dares to say out loud. But for some reason he still runs in those burning buildings. I have no clue why, but I’m proud and thankful. ✝️❤️🇺🇸

Dillan Murray I know but when I became a firefighter I thought I would be respected and I’m really not
@Crazed49224 жыл бұрын
Been in for 3 years, I am 17 now, it isnt about being respected or recognized. I was put in charge of the juniors on the Board of Directors in my company. However if you do good, and fight without caring what people think of you, you will be a great firefighter. People look at me and say "a gay firefighter, I bet he is nothing but a cheerleader." I have been told that almost everyday last year. I wanted to quit, I was at the lowest in the career, until I was tought by my chief to keep moving, that if you let people push you down, or tell you what you should think about yourself, even in a postitive light, it will get to your head. Keep in the moment, and do what is right.

Why not the ladder 3 audio at the beginning still a good tribute i miss ladder 3😭 I was a junior on ladder 4 I don't remember what number but it was a ladder and the moment I heard about ladder 3 I fell on my knees crying and I couldn't stop bc i was a good friend with someone in ladder 3 I was about 15 years old then I was in a pretty high rank like I was pretty good a litle bit lower than an captain I was at that level but I was a junior so I don't get the rank but I was like good and I was allowed in the north building it was a madness I did quit after that bc I couldn't handle it anymore
