Meh, Germany can at least show the Gothic series (best action RPG for me), the Guild series (still no other game has economy management as its core gameplay), Crysis (most innovative game engine at its time) and my personal favourite german games Sacred 1&2 (which easily trample all over diablo and diablo clones) in order to redeem itself as a country pouring out simulations. At least, I can forgive them since they outbalance their shitty releases with masterpieces.

Is this game a bag of shit? Yes. Does it deserve to be on the PS4 storefront? Absolutely. Who is the arbiter that decides whether or not a game should be on a console? It is a case of buyer beware. Read reviews, do your research and you should be alright. It's not as if google is unviewable for people browsing Sony's digital storefront. I do not really want them there but someone may do. Consoles should be less restrictive for developers. This howling for Sony to police their store baffles me. Sony should be commended. They are taking steps in the right direction for consoles. Freeing them up for less well known studios to develop for.

At least on Steam there's a safety net of some kind with their refund policy...not so on Sony's platform. Who is the arbiter? Anyone with a pair of functioning eyes can see that shit like this shouldn't be featured on a respectable storefront to be charged for. When the likes of Dust: An Elysian Tale is kept off a storefront, by all means, rake Sony over the coals. But this, Black Tiger and whatever the fuck that RPG thing were...they are barely functional garbage. It's insulting that they're daring to try and charge for them, and not being featured on Newgrounds or Itch.io for free. On Steam, good games, real games with real time and effort put into them get lost amongst a sea of shite like this. Promising devs with actual talent get nowhere thanks to the open floodgate policy. In a perfect world we want absolutely nothing to complain about in the games industry...but for Jim's field of coverage, this is HUGE. So many potential discussions have been added to catelog. As for the price structure...I would like to know how much involvement/influence Sony really has on that. Are they fully in control as the publisher? Is this a problem with the dev just being greedy? We see this happen on Steam all the time...mobile ports are suddenly more expensive now that they've been brought to PC. So this practice isn't new. You see other shades of the practice with remasters/HD editions of games costing an ungodly sum of money for games that were released 10+ years ago.
