This song reminds me of 2008, what a year. Besides being an uncharacteristic favourite of mine , Ron Pope is probably the only pop(ish) singer I'll ever really enjoy. It blows my mind and makes me feel completely at peace. Every single person I've shown this music to has completely agreed, no matter what music they're into, I'm shocked that Ron Pope isn't a household name by now. I think Ron Pope has completely redefined soul music because this is music for the soul.

My high school sweetheart showed me Ron pope & we would slow dance everytime we listened to him. But this song always brought me to tears thinking what if we don't last... we didn't. Ended so bad after a year & a half & he went on to have a wife & little girl. Broke me into pieces... they recently divorced & he's trying to make up for lost time saying everything I've ever dreamed of him saying.. him growing up & finally being everything I wanted out of him.. but im engaged to the person I've been with the last five years.. I'm so torn.. I mean fiance isn't the love of my life but I love him. Hes my best friend. But seeing my exs name pop up on my phone after not talking for 7 years.... made my heart go to my stomach & I almost puked. The butterflies are still there. Every love song song or cutesie song i get so happy thinking if him... I shouldn't so that right? I should stay with who I'm with now. He doesn't deserve another chance right??? Ugh im lost

The reason I listen to this song is because my best friend died in Afghanistan my gf broke uo with me and I have no money nothing except the clothes on my back and my rifle. She left me at his funeral on the 4th of july :( she said she can't take the distance anymore and she already has someone else in mind I was going to marry her at the fireworks
