Interesting, sounds pretty good (nice playing too). I was considering one of those Charvel teles you have in the background there as well - what's your thoughts on that ax? How do the necks compare?

The Charvel has Fishman Fluence active pickups. That guitar is insanely versatile. I only played the Firefly about an hour. I guess the necks feel pretty similar, but I think the Charvel is slightly slimmer. Thanks for watching!

Nice 👍 You may want to check the string retainer on yours, mine was upside down. Also might want to check the bridge post area "inside back tremelo cavity" and make sure you don't see your bridge inserts.

We've encountered quite a few Firefly's and microphonic pickups, dirty fretboard, polishing frets have been historic issues but solvable. We also find one or sometimes two 'flakey' tuners - different tensioned springs or something. But those are easily replaced. The pickups is a more expensive issue BUT considering guitarists might, over time, swap out pickups OR buy whole new guitars, Firefly's workmanship has made them worth platforms to change, modify and grow into future.

This shape has really grown on me I never used to be a fan but that's a nice looking instrument. I'm tempted to roll the dice on one. How do you like the pickups? It sounds pretty decent on my end. Seems to play pretty well out of the box too 👍

That might be called a watch pocket but I always used it for my zippo lighter.

My first one the frets were scratchy like that, I took a dremel and polished them, the second one was fine. Just ordered this one, the evh paint job though. Kinda worried about the "floyd" as i'm not a big fan of trems. I got a trem stopper on order. Nice playing
