This palm-sized micro helicopter is packed full of features to help make it fun and relatively easy to fly. The flybarless system coupled with the 6-axis gyro stabilization unit gives it a stability not seen in many helicopters of this size before. The included 2.4GHz transmitter gives you full control of the helicopter. It allows you to climb or descend, fly backward and forwards, fly left and right, and rotate left and right. You can also select whether you wish to fly Mode 1 or Mode 2, and also there is a switch to increase or decrease the amount of rudder authority.
One of the features which will help beginners immensely is an auto take-off and landing button, a single press of the one-key button will make the helicopter take-off to an altitude of about 1.5 meters, press the same button again and it will safely land. Then there is the "Altitude Hold", this is controlled via a barometric sensor, the helicopter will hold any height you set and will stay there when the throttle stick is set at neutral. To move to a new altitude simply move the throttle stick up or down until you reach the altitude you want, return the stick to neutral and it will stay there until you move the throttle stick again. An emergency stop function is also supplied, press, and hold the altitude button for 3 seconds and this will stop the motor instantly.
Being flybarless reduces the risk of damage to the helicopter in the event of a crash and also increases the flight time due to less drag. The included 300mAh 25C 1 cell modular battery is quick and easy to install and gives the Firefox an amazing duration of up to 15 minutes. This modular battery is charged using the supplied USB charger, this provides a fast and stable charge process. The Firefox is manufactured using high-performance components and materials which provide strength, are impact-resistant, and made to last.

"Firefox War Story" dept.: You guys got me in trouble once again. Last year, you talked me into the Sport Cub S2. Whilst learning the controls, I tried a little taxi in the house, mistakenly took off and promptly crashed into my wife's leg. She's a good woman and after time forgot about it. Now today, my Firefox choppa arrived. Being windy, and being a former commercial helicopter pilot of many different types, this was certain to be a piece of cake for me to fly inside. If looks could kill, after I started it, my wife stared at me. I survived that first stare. Pulled pitch and got it into a hover and as it drifted to the side, I corrected in the wrong direction and crashed into "she who must be obeyed". That 2nd stare killed me, so I packed it up for a fair weather day. For everyone with one or planning to get one, I have one piece of advice: "Don't forget to check the Jesus Nut"...rotary pilot talk.

I just ordered 2 of these off Ebay for a great price. They are coming directly from China so I will have to wait awhile to get them. I can live with a wait for the savings in cost. I already have 1 Syma S5 red and white, 3 Syma S107G greens, 1 Eachine E-119, 1 Blade 70S, 2 XK K-110s, 1 Blade Nano S3. These should be nice to add to the micro helicopter hanger for under 50 bucks each.

The c189 pro by RCA is a great helicopter for beginners don't waste your money on this one it's junk mine lost signal and flew off wasn't even that far from the remote couldn't get it to land it's just a piece of junk I never have any other problems with any of my other helicopters this was the first one for me that just didn't fly well at all it was all good at first it was flying normal and then all of a sudden something went haywire and it just took off don't be surprised if it takes off from you and it could be literally 20 ft in front of you and it'll eventually lose signal me personally I think they're remote controls are junk

Tie a hook between the skids and practice picking up and transporting objects. My son and his friends did that with his helicopter and transports little tanks and jeeps and does rescue pickup for helicopters with dead batteries. They have a blast.

These are fun to fly but any wind at all it will be tossed around... These micro's can typically be flown inside as well. My first one I bought 15yrs ago cost $200.00, with no gyro or anything. Have come a long ways with the technology... Nice Heli !
