I would call this game a nice 'introduction' to Euro games and such given the fairly basic mechanics that are standard to the genre. Excellent work as always on the video.

Great play through, I just wish it wasn't so expansive to try and pick up a copy of this game.

Any time you say Personnel card, I hear "Nothing personnel, kid" but I can't remember where that is from. Love the video and it made me very interested in the game. Great job at showing it off so well!

23:50 You accidentally stated "who ever completes a size 4 level first". The card is for a commission of exactly 7 levels. 4 is the points you receive when completed. :)

Came to say exactly this.

Good catch, thanks! I've added a note to the Klingon subtitles.

Firenze is very nice, but I have to say that Stefan Feld's Bruges is the same weight, but offers more interesting choices when it comes to card play ;)

Very good job, at Time 43:50 you would have keep one of your two red brick I think. Fab

Yeah, I have a correction for that in the Klingon subtitles.

Throwback! Great vid as always. Have you ever thought of making a video for Queen’s Architect? There aren’t many videos for it (at least not good ones).

I owned that game a long time ago, I think I came quite close to reviewing it in 2015 but never got around to it. It's a game I partly loved and partly didn't like very much and in the end I decided to sell my copy. I don't even remember the specifics of my issues, though I have a vague recollection of runaway leader problems.

Is this a favorite of yours Jon? I know you have mentioned the incentivization mechanism before, and this seems to have a integral incentivization mechanic.
@JonGetsGames3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think this game is great. I'm not sure it's a Top 10 game anymore, but I still think it's solid and a wonderful example of incentivization.

Brilliant. I might actually win a game now. :-)

Thanks for introducing me to this game. How has this flown under my radar. This looks like so much fun and competitive! Is there a place to order this in the U.S.?
@JonGetsGames3 жыл бұрын
I am unsure. I picked this one up at Essen 2018. The original version had text on cards and was therefore language dependant.

43:43 you should have kept one red brick right?
