Just picked up a sixer of this on Monday. Getting a lot of pineapple and citrus from these hops. Different from the past versions that were more tropical and melon forward. ABV is just right on this series.

They actually sent me a fresh can of 005 to try side by side and for me 5 had much more or a tropical vibe then this one. For me this just tasted like a really solidly coinstructed WC IPA. Not that there is anything wrong with that I just felt like I had it before

My favorite is 002. I haven't tried 006 yet, but it sounds like it's totally different than the fruity hop characteristics of the previous ones. Maybe I'll try one can of it rather than a sixer...

Dang, no. 3 is still my overall favorite, 4 was a bit of a let down as well, 5 made a bit of a come back (similar to 2 if I recall). That said I'll still try this!

Have you gotten your hands on that Ballast Point Manta Ray DIPA yet? I've had it twice and it's now one of my favorites! Fantastic stuff! (and no, i'm not a fanboy for B.P. either lol...I actually try to avoid their beers here in Calif because they're SOOO common),.
