Hello, I upgraded from the original Firestick to the latest 1 today 11/15/2022 and the developer options wasn't there so I used the about technique you stated and it worked no problem. I bought the regular 1080P HD firestick.

Hi Tanya, Thanks for your help. I needed to get a new cube my older one was version one just stopped working. The new cube Version 3 has the “developer” section was hidden but thanks to you, I found it! The nice thing is that it now comes with a USB port now. My only complaint is that “Popcorn” is not working but with your help I got other apps that do work great so I got my TV up and running very fast. Thanks again!

Hello, Tayna thanks for another great video the developer options was missing when I bought my fire cube 2nd generation I remember you had a video telling us to click on about and the name of the device we got seven times until we get that message after that I was able to download apks from the downloader app. Thanks again your videos really help us a lot please keep the content coming. 🤗😍

I have a Fire Smart TV and it works about the same way with downloader and developer mode.the fire stick is already installed inside the television.

Me too. But I also have a Firestick added as an additional input via HDMI. Plus I have followed Tanya's instructions re adding extra storage - with a memory stick on the television and one on the Firestick providing loads of capacity and backup where necessary. If I had known then what I know now about adding capacity to a firestick, I probably wouldn't have bought a Fire TV (a JVC from Curry's) as I find it just a bit annoying at times. My wife hates it and finds it too complicated. On the positive side, thanks to Tanya and her videos, it has all become a bit of a hobby as I have also Freesat, a FTA satellite receiver (for Hotbird and Astra 19) and Chromecast attached to the other 3 HDMI inputs.

Mine was hidden. Purchased last year in October's amazon days. Fire TV stick 4K/Ultra HD/HDR voice remote with Alexa. It seems to be the 4th gens that it hidden on. I had almost 20 that I've programmed that were missing the developer options and they were mostly from that batch! If you load previous settings from an existing Firestick it will transfer the developer options to the new stick. If you start from scratch you will have to do the about and click 5 times.

Hello. I decided to do a factory reset on my Gen 2 Amazon Firestick. About the developer options, I know in the past I was able to click the tab and turn it on. After the reset, the tab was no longer there, so I clicked about 7 times, and it did give me the message no need you are already a developer. Thank you, very helpful

Tanya. Why is it that when I go to put in a rul for a fully loaded kodi. My keyboard will not let me put in the two dots on top of each other. It has only a .on top of a symicoyn? This making it impossible to add on the good channels

Yes. I do not yet have a new Fire Cube, but it should work the same as attaching a USB drive to any Fire TV. So long as it is formatted correctly, you should be able to view files on it using file explorer apps or VLC Player, for example if it is media files you are sharing.

Hi Tanya. First off thank you for all your clips over the years. I have a 4k fore stick and developer options wasn’t hidden when I first jail broke it last year. But I yesterday I had to restore the fire stick to factory settings and the developer options was hidden. Guessing it’s a software update that causes it.
