No doubt it's gonna be one of the strongest glass cars ever made but I'd leave the aluminum in the tunnel, it makes great heat deflection, awesome work as always Bob,

Looks good Bob. I seen your finger awhile back. I found my rear brakes for my c10, just so you know. I had to stop on my c10. Getting ready for the Forged in Fire knife show here in my home town Conroe Texas. I forge knives too. Got to make my sheaths and finish gettin-it-together. Can’t wait to see it down Bob. I like all your cars you built.

I used to buy a gallon of black fibreglass adhesive that you mixed hardner into. Cant remember the brand. They used it at the corvette factory for gluing the seams. I would butter up a panel then hold it in place with pop rivets. After it cured I would drill out the rivets and glass everything with mat or cloth and resin. Good stuff.

Hey Bawb, Was wondering where ya was. Ya makin progress on the 34 coupe by leaps and bounds ! Ain't nuthin wrong wit the way you make templates, they work to get the job dun. The air gap twixt the glass an the aluminum is a great idea. That coupe is going to be a nice ride when ya gets her dun. See ya nex time.

Bob, something to consider. On the inside of the car and underneath, maybe use some of that two part bedliner that you spray on. It comes in a kit with everything you need including the sprayer and it's tough as heck and looks real nice. Very easy to apply. My neighbor did it on his pickup and it looks awesome. It hides a multitude of sins. It would help to deaden noise as well as insulate. Just a thought. If you need, I can find out which brand he used. Seems like it was about $150 for a dodge dakota bed including up and over the bed rails.

Hi Bob.. I enjoyed your video but watching you cut with a box cutter across your lap was cringey. I did that years ago working on a plastic model and opened up a deep cut in my thigh about three inched long. That gave me a massive scar on my leg and taught me to never cut across my leg with a box cutter. Well, Bob, just though I'd share my story. ;-)
