Thanks Carla! We had a lovely Christmas. My parents moved in with me recently as they are in their 80’s and dad has had quite a lot to cope with over the last couple of years with open heart surgery and treatment for bladder cancer. It was a great day with family. I hope you had a good Christmas although It must have been difficult for you. I wish you all the very best that 2023 can bring! xx 🎉💕

yes, I never thought I would learn the names but now I recognise them easily. They are just patterns, some which you may already draw. Zentangle inc. started creating step by step instructions to draw each pattern and named each one. Since then many people have devised step outs to many other patterns and named them themselves.

What brand gel pens do you use? I can't get my metallic ones to keep writing. Any tips? Enjoyed the video and your music.

I usually use Sakura gel pens. The trick to get them to work is to use a very light touch. The harder you press the more the pen won’t work as the ink needs to flow. I had this problem when I started using gel pens. do some scribbling on a scrap piece of paper using a feather light touch until the ink flows freely again.

I’m fine thank you Andrew. My parents moved in with me and both of them have had major health issues. Things have settled down now thankfully and they are both doing well. I have been working on writing and illustrating a children’s picture book so my life has been busy.
