If you have a 20×20 panel or 20×20 worth of blocks put together, each hole in the back should correspond with one arrow. Put some blocks on as a handle and carefully line it up to fire them all at almost the exact same time instead of row by row

The train part gave me an interesting idea. Could you try making a Lego machine gun that is belt-fed? You could attach the spring-shooters to a belt that is looped through using a Lego motor and as the spring-shooters reach the barrel, you can have one of the slope things setup to make them fire. Could be really satisfying and a cool build.

The train reminds me of a clip in a gun, very cool. As for simultaneous firing, you would need a second "wall". The first wall holds the arrows, the second one is made of bricks with holes. These holes would line up with the arrows and, when moved, should fire all the arrows at the same time. 👍

@23Joe91 Жыл бұрын
If you dropped the block of 400, would the shock cause most or all to fire at once or is the projectile so light they get held in by the springs? That way you could really get them all to fire simultaneously. You could build a shroud around the block to make it fall predictably :D
@hamsandwich6685 Жыл бұрын
Have it fall onto a panel of slopes in strips that correspond with the rows of the spring loaded shooters. So as it falls, in a frame like your idea using gravity, the slopes would also use gravity to shift every projectile up a bit from the fall. They shoot straight up with this idea though, and that's not ideal.

Brickstory Builds: "This is but a taste of our power! Do you yield?" Bowser: "I do not."
@Why_It Жыл бұрын
To make them all fire simultaneously, you could build basically what the last one was but have a 1-2 brick gap between each row. Then make duplicate structure with the slanted bricks instead of launchers. Then just align the slanted brick structure with the gaps and press down to hit all the shooters at once. Should also probably cut down on the amount that didn't launch properly as well.
@AJVenom123 Жыл бұрын
can you PLEASE make a train that has an activating mechanism on it, that interacts with stationary shooter walls in a similar curved setup. then you can add a bunch of guys in the middle of the circle and all the shooter walls will be angled towards them! I think it would be so satisfying.
@JesseGuo Жыл бұрын
I wonder if you could make a backboard that used the same slope idea as the train for the 400 square? So that you could just press the two parts together and then every shooter fires all at once!

Could there possibly be a way to design a contraption that fires them in a rotating stack? Much like a gatling gun, where rotating the barrel into places triggers the firing. You could perhaps make a crank, then put that firing pin you had the clones sit on sit behind the crank, and when the spring loaded block turns into place, it fires as it’s released from the spring. I’m sure it’s possible, I just don’t have the mechanical know how to do it myself

I was gifted with the Lego Chima Tormak’s Shadow Blazer, which was my first introduction to this piece. I loved playing around with that cat-tank I built, especially with its flipping transformation gimmick into Fire Chi Mode. However, there was one particularly vexing problem: whenever I picked the vehicle up or activated the transforming gimmick, the spring shooters would go off every time, requiring me to search for the stray pieces and reload them. Just a slight inconvenience, but otherwise, a very solid build with amazing play value.
