I think the big telling sign is when you look at some of the players stats. Pretty average or below average stats in mid to high tier vehicles meanwhile 400 games, 1000 kills, and just over 200 deaths. I shit you not this is close to some dude I saw in game and had like a 1.1 KDR in the Leo 1 💀 They're also almost always littered with 6 damn bushes just to be overly toxic

The KV1-E/B are the most tank under tiered tanks in the game the problem is 90% of the people that play them don't know how to angle them properly just like tiger players. I take out the KV1-E and B cover them in bushes, when I feel like being toxic and just want to stomp lobbies

Lets be real most people do not spend money on the game every week or two, so not buying anything in the short term isn't hurting them a ton, unless everyone stops buying stuff and you know that's not happening.

I will say it, until I am blue in the face. The community takes care of its own. The Community takes great care of the content creators. The content creators in return take care of us, by standing up for us. Clearly, at the start of this game the community had to get those ideals from someone. It's sad to see that Gaijin has lost the battle from within and is now entirely focused on money rather than trying to create a healthy game with good content. Sad days boys. Honestly , content creators are not quite with us , as they get lots free stuff for gajin, they get premium accounts , full unlocked accounts(all vechicles reserched) and some are even paid to make content for the game , or offered sponsorships or deals , lots dont even how bad grind is or how terrible economy change is for your averige f2p who sometimes buys tanks , sometimes can afford premium , since economy 3 change(and this one is 5th i belive) it was hard to make enough eagles to unlock new tanks , now lots tanks ran at a loss even if you win with premium , but content creators get free premium tanks , alweys get premium so rarely ever they know how bad these changes are dollar plays recently made new series where he made completly fresh account , to see how is "new player experience) , i cant wait till he hit mid game where "grind gets real" i quit in 2017 , never came back and i never will , it was shortly after was it 3? economy change i think.

The issue is the rocket rack was welded to the barrel for aiming. Firing the gun would break the linkage via the recoil. However, some crews modified their tanks so the linkage connected to the mantlet instead, which allowed them to use the gun. Technically the Calliope could function as it is shown in WT.

@@samadams2203 It's worth noting that field modification also reduced the elevation of the rocket launcher, but the E1 and E2 later variants of the launcher system incorporated the modification as standard, but also included an extra elevation arm to restore full mobility to the launcher. All versions could be jettisoned from within the tank, including the original, which in fact on the original version was what you did if you needed immediate access to the main gun in an emergency. Would be a cool functionality to have to let you ditch the weight once empty or to ditch it early if you anticipated combat where it would be too much of a liability.

Bought this tank back in 2015 and revisited War Thunder andthis vehicle a couple of days ago. Dropped a 18 kill game 2 days in. I do have to disagree though. It's really good because you basically get a whole MLRS for you 50. cal. Aboslutely fantastic to overpessure Pz IV and light vehicles, good for follow ups when you miss AND can be used to create an instant smoke cover by shelling the ground between you and the enemy. Moreover, it's pretty effective at range to take down tracks, barrells or to just annoy.

I don't know about that I have been making the same thing for the last few months and at this BR is where anyone can make a Ton of Sl thats' how it was made. You have to play Low BR vehicles to make the SL to be able to play a couple HIGH BR games so I haven't seen much of a change if there was any. Usually making around on a loss 40 to 50k and a win 70 to 90k depending on how good you did.

If you actually put time into it instead of just an occasional thing I highly recommend buying a year of premium when its on sale and buying the battlepass. Because its a small price to pay to save wasting your time. The battlepass still gives your gold back if you complete it.

As someone who has put MANY hours into using the Calliope, I can say it is very much a fun tank. The rocket rack usually nets you free kills. Panzer 4 drives up and shoots the rack, you shoot him with the 75mm. Happens so often because players see the rocket rack and don't know how to cope with it. They think shooting it will make it blow up, but that only happens if the explosion actually hits the rockets inside the tubes, which it often doesn't. Shells just explode in the tubes and hit the tubes only. If you can get the GE at a discount and buy the Calliope when it is half off during a major sale, it is worth the ~$25 you might have to spend for it as long as you like playing around 4.0 BR. And I will say that 4.0 USA is a really fun BR since you get the M4A2, M19, Calliope, an M24 and your choice of 4.0 planes of which there are MANY amazing ones to pick, particularly the P-61 and PBJ for just having fun.

But they got away from that when THERE favorite tanks where just getting stomped... So they started to change it to increase or decrease a tanks BR by how well the player base did with a specific tank or plane.. So the "W" players caused german and russian tanks to start dropping in BR.. American, British, and Japanese and French tanks go up in BR.

I think the issue is play style - a KV1 encourages players (including me) to dive straight in. I played a couple of full uptier games last night spawning in first with an L11 and both times a Swedish PVKV thingy took me out at range straight through the front plate. The key is to spawn them later in the game when uptiered. In mid/ down tiers they are stupidly good right from the start. Love to see Odd wipe the floor using a KV1E.

I'm actually more okay with the KV-1B and KV-1E where they are compared to the KV-85. While I can't speak for the KV-85 when its uptiered, a downtiered KV-85 is just ridiculous. If you're a 3.7 player in a 4.7 match, there's always a few of them roaming about and they can basically just look at something and it'll die, regardless of angle. It should be at least a bit higher.

13:43 as someone who enjoys playing lights and scouts a lot, it makes me irrationally angry when I get surprised by an enemy that's not scouted even though there's a friendly scout right there staring at him. I guess there's valid reasons for the no scout but too often I feel like light players don't even make an attempt.
