Great video. I have this generator, I have never run it on gas only on propane to keep it from the issues that gasoline brings.

Can't be too picky with a new used generator. It arrived with a fuel tank which I won't be able to burn off, so I will have to drain it before switching over to propane only. Do own or exchange your propane tanks?

@cfldriven That is true. I won't complain. If I may, I would just burn it off in the generator, give it a break-in using the fuel, then drain whatever is left in the carburetor bowl and change the oil afterward. Since I only have this generator for power outages, I have my own tanks, bought 2, 30 lbs, and a few refillable 1lb cylinders.

Bro, this video is awesome. The only thing I would say is if you were able to also fill it with a propane tank because there is one step that I failed to do when connecting my propane tank. If you would have filmed it, I probably would have caught that. Anyhow, thank you so much. Your video is really great

I bought this model generator yesterday during a power outage, ran it for about 15 hours, burned through about 7 gallons of gasoline. Topped it off every few hours while it was running. Didn’t have any issues.

Congrats on your purchase. Another 10 hours and it will be due for an oil change. Was that 15 hrs on Eco or regular mode? Thank you for watching.

@@cfldriventhe switch was on eco mode but I had two 1500watt heaters, fridge, phone chargers plugged into it so it was running meat full load the entire time

This video was helpful. I got mines today. Turned it on. For 15-20 seconds the engine runs fine. Then the overload light turns on. Any idea?

Once engine starts, kill choke, allow engine to warm up (minute or two) then plug in power cord and switch on load. If overload is coming on without load, I would email Firmen tech support since it has a 3 year warranty.
