Omg! Your “I don’t care how long it takes, I’m going to finish” resonates so hard with my recent 50k. Huge congrats!!

Incredible video of an amazing performance. Big congratulations on getting that done. I learned a lot from the way you dealt with the various hardships you encountered. Thank you! Keep up the great work.

Great capture of the NS100K experience, congrats on your finish. It was nice to see the course again, agree that the American Lakes portion is very nice. I always recommend getting out on the course a few times, and not just the pretty parts. NS is mentally tough, especially on those miles and miles of rocky logging roads from the 1950s, sprinkled with tree stumps, making it difficult to get any sort of rhythm. And like you mentioned, rain, hail, and lightning seems to always be part of the NS experience. Hope your recovery went well!

Solid recap, congrats on a great race! I ran it in 2018 and this brought back a LOT of memories. You're a bit faster than me, it was weird seeing anything after Clear Lake in the day light!

That's awesome, congratulations! I thought that your ankle may have played a part - glad it healed up and didn't bother you (unless I missed it somehow). I'm glad that you're positive on finishing even if you didn't meet your initial goals. It just gives you something to continue to work towards, but it doesn't diminish that finishing your longest race ever is a huge accomplishment. Looking forward to seeing what's next.

I've been a subscriber for a while now and always enjoy your videos. Congrats on a strong finish at Never Summer and for powering thru the tough times! This was a really good recap and great job on filming and editing. I used to trail run fairly regularly but aging and some tough health issues have been hindering my efforts. I'm trying to get back a decent health & fitness level. I currently do several hike/jog (more like slog, haha) efforts per week w/some cross- and strength training when feeling well enough. Hope your post-race recovery has been going well :)

Your crew was amazing, and props to your dad literally giving you the shirt off his back. And having a partner like Chandler helps make the impossible dreams possible.

This race is overlooked in it's difficulty unless you've run it before. I ran it (2023) with a time of 18 hours 11 minutes which seems like a LONG time to run an 100k race. Much of the last 10-15 miles was run-walking/speed hiking. That final 1300 foot climb a few miles before the finish were SO HARD! LOL! That said, I too loved this race and would love to run it again! Well done and congratulations!
@MountainHighLife4 ай бұрын
Thank you!! Ahh those last 15 miles were certainly my hardest, the last 8 in particular because that Bockman climb felt never ending lol. Definitely hard but so beautiful and a really magical experience- you said it best, I would absolutely do it again!!
