It was truly an honour running against you again this year and a shame to have to knock you out of the running. You well and truly scared me into practicing for this set of runs 😁 On a personal note, you were the person who originally got me into Take & Hold as a game mode, I never would have even known it was a thing without your videos. Take and Hold lead me into a lot of greater pursuits down the track so I genuinely owe a lot of the friendships I hold near and dear to my heart to you and your videos. So, sincerely, thank you for doing what you do and making videos showcasing this brilliant game, you have more of a positive impact than you probably realize. I took it on myself to stream/make content for the game because I felt that no one out there realized what fun could be had with it, so comments like that are what make it all worthwhile. it was a great tourney run, a very respectable placement given the ridiculous high bar the competition set, I'd love to see you revisit some PMC Pete, it's still one of my favourite limited ammo chatacters.

first round was harsh, swarmed while having terrible rolls. At the end he totally forgot, that he loaded his shotty with actuall projectiles and still tried to blind sosigs with it :D

I do have interest in these runs but I always made sure to watch the runs before looking at the standings. Way to spoil it at the one hour mark! Jokes aside you did really well during the entire tournament despite the sheer bad luck you got sometimes. It was really nice to see you go and your 1-hit runs were all quite impressive, even those that didn't pan out well. You should be proud of making it this far into the tournament. Looking forward to more H3VR content. I know it would probably tank user retention and view count but if you want to explore other VR games I'd definitely watch. At the end of the day you should really focus on what you want to do. I remember enjoying those Zero Caliber videos a lot aswell. Take a break if you must, must've been a lot of H3 in the last weeks. Hah, sorry for the spoiler. I was just so bummed with my performance that i had to warm everyone watching lol. I do want to check other VR stuff out, especially Into The Radius. Im not real concerned with retention anymore, I know im a niche channel and wont grow further unless i "turn to the dark side" so ill probably be letting loose and posting whatever more and more. Sorry, just to confirm cause I am a bit confused. The reason Jedi is doing 1 hit vs standard is so that he can score higher because his opponent is good at scoring high?

There are multipliers based on what kind of settings you attempt a run with. My opponent was running Standard Health + Spawnlock which has a bit of a multiplier over base score, but not too much. One Hit Spawnlock has a much higher multiplier, so as long as I survive a one hit with a decent score, I have a higher score than what he can get with the very best run on Standard health.

jedi, what are your ' go-to ' tips for one hit runs? do you play any differently than normal on one hit?

Stay in cover and if a sosig sees you, back off until the deaggro, dont repeek the corner

A silly question, but I have to know. How do you know / anticipate which door the enemy is going to come through?

No hints at all until I can hear them. I try to position myself so that I can hear as many entrances as possible, but there are some holds that sosigs get stuck on doors and ladders that make that confusing

I don’t use snap I use twin stick but its a odd thing doesn’t happen to often but it breaks it completely I have to reset the room

happened to me twice by accident so far, I try to avoid leaning on/into a wall, because that seems to be the main cause for it
