I cannot begin to describe how much pride i felt for you as a mom watching this. This video made me feel validated as a mom. I legit sat there while a lactation consultant told me i wasnt feeding my son correctly because it hurt... i call bullshit cuz it does hurt. I am proud of you mama

Heck yeah, I am so glad I mentioned that myself, because I did film a breastfeeding video, but I actually need to refilm it now that I have been breastfeeding wyatt. But I truly beleive that it's like your feet...they're sensitive at first and need to get used to walking around outside on rocks and stuff before they get calloused and it doesn't hurt anymore. Breastfeeding is the same for me. Now that my nipples are used to it... I can tell when his latches have been too shallow cause they're more sensitive, but they don't "hurt". It will take a few weeks!

Congratulations!!! He's so precious!! I'm so happy for you that you had an easier delivery and that you're both healthy! Even though you do this for KZbin, it's great that you'll have all these videos to look back on and you can one day watch with them. I'd love to see a video on medicated vs unmedicated delivery. I had my one and only unmedicated and I had to get pitocin as well. I was supposed to get induced due to being in blood thinners but he had his own plans at 37 1/2 weeks. Enjoy this time & soak up every moment. It only happens once!!💜💕💜

My daughter breastfed my grands and she said that it was recommended she drink Body Armour because it apparently helps milk flow. She did it and had lots of milk. Also, just remembered I meant to tell you, a milk bath photo session An old timey wash tub ( obvs either a prop or a new one. The photographer had a beautiful set up. My grand is in cloudy water ( the milk) and she was a few months old. It’s one of my favorite pictures

Is it better after having a natural birth vs a medicated one? I had a mild bout of depression after my first son, but nothing with my youngest. My youngest had pretty bad jaundice, so I told people that I was too busy to feel depressed. Hormones can be a bee-otch after giving birth.

First off, congrats. I saw your post about Harlow not wanting much to do with you. We have 4 children, our first two are 19 months apart. So a few more months different than yours. But my oldest did the same thing & he was always by my side until I had his little brother. But it only lasted a month or so. I honestly think he was afraid of hurting me or the baby & that was the reason for the distance, or I’ve told myself that over the years to feel better. But also, I wasn’t doing our normal routine so he was thrown off. But he was back up my butt in no time & now those two “babies” are 19 & 20 years old (we were barely 18 when we had our first). The oldest has moved out & it went by so fast. And we still have little ones also. 😂 We just kept going but spread them WAY out the second time around, not on purpose. I had an IUD when I got pregnant with our 4th. But I can’t imagine not having him. All the love & good luck momma. You got this, keep kicking ass! ✌🏽❤️🌱🍄

Putting on hem med or hydrocortisone cream on and push them back up inside is what worked for me. Long as they’re hanging out they’re constantly being irritated that’s what the pharmacist that I work with told me that the best thing was just push them back up in there so I tried it and it worked lol

I used damp lipton tea bags to heal my cracked nipples. One of my Asian clients turn me into this homeopathic treatment. It worked wonders! You dampen them, don't soak them. Post feeding place one tea bag on each nipple about 5 mins. Store them small container in the fridge. The cooling affect will sooth any inflammation too. The over the counter creams did nothing. I wouldn't bother with it. Every 1-2 days, I'd change the tea bags out.

Breast-feeding just hurts in general in the beginning we have had a very successful breast-feeding journey. My daughter is about to be 16 months old and we still nurse to sleep but I remember in the very beginning my nipples HURT. 😂

Epidural is what makes you constipated. After my second unmedicated birth I didn’t have any issue and I didn’t take anything. There was no meed for it. I went to #2 in the hospital actually. We also only stay for 1 night
