Due to reduced passenger flow to Heathrow airport via Piccadilly line, TFL should’ve ordered another variant of the trains with lattitudal seating that goes only on the Heathrow branch. Like the Metropolitan S8 stock. I guess it complicates things too much though.

*transverse, not latitudinal but yeah seems like it could be a good idea might be complicated though because afaik the wheels go into a space below the seats, could be harder to arrange if you have transverse seating

@@junovzla A few of the carriages don't have bogies (i.e. no wheels), so for those it should be possible. For the other ones in the middle of the carriage as well
