I love how down to earth you guys are. There are channels on youtube that make such a big fuss about having a baby, they go on and on about morning routines and meal plans and all kinds of stuff and while it actually IS A BIG DEAL TO HAVE A BABY you guys just figure it out along the way while trying to make your little family comfortable on that 22ft swimming toilet of yours. Willa has you guys, your love, food and a (somewhat) warm roof over her head and she's a happy baby, i love that! PLEASE, never think that that your new adventures are not enough to keep us (me) entertained, i don't watch because of blue caribbean seas or a big catamaran, i watch because i like you guys and because i like your attitude towards life, have fun, stay who you are :)

I love your guys' channel. If you're taking travel tips, I really hope that you go to Wallace Island for at least a couple days. It was always my favourite Gulf Island growing up and in my opinion is one of the best. It's also one of the only islands that has a small dock without it being a crowded marina so you can stretch your legs but still feel like it's a quiet private place. I can imagine having a dock with a picnic bench to escape to will be a must on this boat. Check the tides though because entering the cove can be very shallow at times. Happy Sailing.

My first boat is a Compac 23. I can’t imagine living with a baby on a TWENTY TWO FOOT BOAT! I busted a gut “I’m feel’s it in my lower back” because I did too. Then you figured it out-kneel! My boat came with a little foam pad that I didn’t know what it was for until the pain in my knees got so bad that it dawned on me “It’s a kneeling pad!” (I’m a little behind bc I just found you guys)

Well, the first time you step back on Nahoa, it's going to feel like the Taj Mahal. Shake down goes way back....farmers and traders shook down baskets of produce to make sure that they got their money's worth. Sailors must have used the same term for initial cruises, just like you said...to settle the ballast so there wasn't any surprises with a heeling ship in the middle of the ocean. It also made it easier to find the right balance for cargo after the ballast was leveled.

I am surprised your didn’t at least head to Sooke. On second thought probably good thing you didn’t. Getting around Race Rocks can be quite interesting. I think making Cambell River as a goal will be enough for this Summer. Although the West Coast of Vancouver is spectacular. Banfield, Tofino and Hot Springs Cove are all easy 3-4 day coastal cruises in that tiny boat.

There should also be a pair of holes lower in the tabnernacle to match those lower in the mast. You use the upper holes to raise and lower the mast, then when the mast is up put a pin the lower hole and remove the upper pin. It looks like someone filled in lower holes in the tabernacle.
