You do always have to be careful but as long as you're smart and with someone else the chances are low

I use the Osmo Action 5 pro with the neck mount. Works a treat. And yeah crocs have been spotted there but it's rare and my mate and I are always on the look out

how are the prawns so close to the shore?

A couple of reasons. They like warm shallow water for feeding amd breeding mostly. Once the sun comes up they do generally retreat to deeper waters
