Living in Michigan, The odds of me catching bass(large or smallmouth) over 5-6lbs is so rare, I could probably win the lottery before I catch a 10lbs-er. Also, anyone else find the fight between fish and angler to be one of the most rewarding fishing experiences that one can have? other then releasing the fish back to the waters in which they came to allow others to have the same experience as me.

I can’t blame you for thinking that was a 10 lber. Earlier today I got two hard bites and something dragged me down against a drop-off. It must’ve hunkered down ‘cause I couldn’t move it. I thought it was a giant. Whatever it was I couldn’t bring it in so I’m guessing it hunkered down and my line eventually snapped. 🤷🏻‍♂️
