I recommend starting with two woodcutters, with Ctrl+F you can marked trees expect the ones that reveals glades. You can set woodcutters to chop only marked trees. Some production buildings can be upgraded with pipes to use water, you can get production speed, production bonuses and happiness for the workers, tho it will create corruption overtime.

@tightropegaming i don't remember, if you have access to it from the start, it's on a tab when you open the building. I started playing a while ago and it changed during early access. Also farm tend to be op because they are the only renewable food source, which makes human op because of their production bonuses on agriculture.

You should use favouring species not only during storm but also in other seasons if it makes you pass the resolve threshold. Makes game much easier.
