This is British colonial conquest of Burma, may be you Luxembourgers and Germans wouldn't be notice since it's between Napoleon wars and 1848 revolutions, period of industrialization and peace in Europe..also we, Burma was a nation between India and China,two Asian powers.Actually,British and France had eyes set on the country since Seven years war.So the last dynasty's founder King even sent golden letter with rubies to King George II about his E.I.Co conduct and that letter still preserved in the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Library since it's Hanoverian personal union with Britain. 2nd AngloBurmese war took place because of gunboat diplomacy set by English commandore Lambert who start hostilities by seizing the our King's Only steam-screw warship.3rd War was such a shame coz not a single gunshot due to cowardice and ignorance of stupid king and queen,thus fulfilling British wholesale occupation of Burma....

Not much of Burmese Victories were shown in the video, but the Burmese Army wasn’t completely useless, Uzana had already defeated British units in Cachar and Jaintia and Burmese Force led by Lord Myawaddy, defeated British in Ramu. Bandula’s troops also defeated British in Gadawpalin and captured Cox Bazar, which cause extreme panic to British units in Chittagong and Calcutta. However, Maha Bandula didn’t want to overstretch so he stopped advancing, if only he took the lightly held towns of Chittagong and Calcutta.....

LOL, you know that Burmese has a conscription system called Ahmudan Service System, which meant that only 2000 troops were actually the permanent fighting army and the other 38000 are villagers and civilians like you and me. And also get it right, british had 50000 troops involved in the campaign while Burmese only brought 40000, so we DONT outnumbered them. And also 72.3% of european died and 3500 Indians died in the war against Burma. Burma also had cannons soooo, your statement is incorrect.

Dude during the First Anglo Burmese war, British brought 50000 and Burmese brought 40000, 38000 of the Burmese are villagers and civilians brought by the Ahmudan Service System which meant that conscription is necessary due to the fact that the permanent army only has 2000, but you can read in Wikipedia or a different relevant and legit source that Burmese won a lot of victories early which caused a huge panic to British in Chittagong.

Bizarre statement 🤦🏻‍♂️ HOW would Burma have been more prosperous being OUT of the British Empire? Doesn't make sense. It's just the exact opposite of how things worked in the 19th century... British colonies prospered greatly, being part of the greatest trading and investing network of all times 🤷🏻‍♂️ Being in it gave the most access to funds, tools, expertise and technology possible at the time. Also can't imagine how any King, regardless of how able, could have magically stopped the British and British Indians.

I appreciate your presentation. the map that you use is not correct but anyway it is used in that way by Myanmar people also. But the fact is that many states in Myanmar were not apart of Burma during that time. you said that Rakhine state was conquered by Burmese in 18th century, that is true but many states such as Shan, Karen, Kaya, Kachin, and Chin were never conquered by Burma, they were separately conquerd by Brits. and we took independence together. so the map should be in different shape. the map was not that much big even when Thailand and Lao were conquered.
