You should get another oven mitt. It’s easier to take pans out of the oven with two mitts. Especially if the baking pan is heavy. It’s good to have two mitts handy. You don’t want to burn yourself. Also you should get trivets to lay your hot pots and pans on.

Congratulations 🎉The one thing I recommend is saving some of the more expensive appliance things like vacuum etc until 30 or less days out so they aren’t in the boxes and the return policy runs out if for some reason they don’t work before you get a chance to try.

OXO makes the best salad/veggie spinner. OXO and Rubbermaid makes the best food storage containers they both make them in glass.

I suggest going to costco for some kitchen essentials… they do a sale on a set of pyrex glass containers which is a great deal (a set of 9-10 containers for less than $25) and also the oxo pantry containers plus their return policy is great if they ever mess up

Starting over is so much fun. P.S. two oven mits always. Even if you think the dish isn’t too heavy, you can get it off balance and spill whatever is in it and spill the hot contents all in the oven and even worse you could get the hot food on yourself!!

Use parchment paper to prevent the baking sheet from turning brown, if that fails get the caraway ones, they work really well! & try the Pyrex brand for storage containers.

That new target brand she got a lot of the baking stuff in (Figment) is also actually so good, I have the smaller baking sheet and it doesn’t stain/turn brown at all, at least it hasn’t for me yet! I’m planning on going to get the big sheet pan…for anyone else wondering lol

That plastic seal that came out the cover for the dish, you will need to take out after a couple of uses and wash. So it's a ok quality.

Yes get the oven that toaste, air fry, bake, does rotisserie chicken and more. One machine multi uses. No clutter counter top👍🏼

The rubber comes off of the meal prep containers so you can wash it if food or anything gets on them. It's going to happen with most containers like that if not all. :)

The storage containers with that rubber grippy thingy end up being really annoying. You always have to make sure to wash them everytime because it can get moldy. Try the Pyrex meal prep bowls that have a plastic lid but no lip or whatever it’s caled

About the colander- I wanted to say. They start to rust often, cause they’re wet so much. I threw a few away because of that. Plastic is better in that case. Return the containers - they need to be able to be in the oven and not break. If you bake a lasagna and bring it to a potluck then you don’t want to transfer the lasagna from one to the other …

I got my meal prep containers from costco and amazon. I got the Pyrex ones and they are cute! White lids ans keep air out. I use to get the snap ones but I would always find food stuck in the lips thay I couldnt take out.
