If you do want to go the candle route, make sure to buy SOY based candles.. regular candles have paraffins in them... always stay mindful for the environment!!! But honestly I can buy essential oils in like a huge glass bottle at Walmart for $5.. just something to think about...

Just wanted to say that most candles are not healthy to breath in. Essential are expensive to start with but they last a really long time. I haven't found them to overall be any more expensive than candles. With that said, I do burn a candle now & then but usually try to opt for diffusing essential oils because it's so much better for my family's health. Good video though! I just found your channel & I'm binge listening to it while I do laundry. Great content!

I don't really get how plants can be labeled as "essential" yea they're nice and all, but not really something that's essential. same with candles; nice, but not essential, as long as you're keeping your space clean, you won't have a huge need for candles. as someone looking to move into their first apartment soon, I've been looking for apartment essentials so I can make a budget for the things I'll need to get when I move out, and I felt like a few of these things are stuff that's just nice to have, but not really a necessity...

Just wanted to say my essentials list would be.. 1) a good size trash can 2) scented trash bags 3) cleaning supplies you enjoy the smell of 4) paper towels 5) toilet paper These are things I forgot when I first moved out on my own

I bought a $30 vacuum from Amazon I love! it works amazing! Dysons are nice but not necessary unless you want something cordless.
