Mr Powell, it is not a bad idea for children to sleep in their own bed. This is something recommended by professionals. It is suggested that badies should be exposed to the crib from early even if it's inside the parents' room. And as growth commences, they move to their own room. Especially now when they are at the stage where they are talkative. They are not afraid to say what they have seen and heard.

I'll answer these easily: 1) Regarding kids being picky about food - Stop asking them 'What do u want to eat'. My parents never did that. They made food. We ate or starved. lol 2) If u feed kids alot of fast food, snacky type foods...they're naturally gonna less want to eat real food, Rice, veggies, stews etc 3) About Sleep. It is annoying as a Mom & Dad when kids always want to come in your bed. But remember, lil kids sleeping alone isnt what human beings did for most of history. The idea of young children having their own room is a relatively new thing. In many ancient African cultures, the young kids slept with their Mom...Dad had his own hut. And Mommy could 'visit' after the kids were asleep! ;)
