Where I used to fish, there was this one group that kept showing up and leaving trash and what not. I fished there religiously. (not because of the extreme bites I would recieve, but just because the place was a good place to relax). One time they attempted to start a conversation, and I ignored them. When they asked why, I let them know I why I would not associate with them. That was the last time they left trash at that location. Other than not being brought up right, a couple of them were pretty okay.

Glad u tried the bitsy again. For me it is just like fishing a larger SK square bill for bass. Sometimes they are the deal especially in early spring and fall when they are chasing bait. Summer not so much. Like u i am a soft plastic t- rig guy. That's my confidence . Try the bitsy again soon when the water cools down and defiantly try when your creek fishing. Thanks for cleaning up other idiots garbage. Love the show man.

hey realistic fishing and fans i would like to point out that 1 thing i love about those small little baits like the bitsy minnow and buzzbait and spinnerbait is that you can actually get the bait fish and small baby bass to bite and catch them like you see at 12:01 i say this because sunday afternoon i was throwing out a small spinnerbait and i got 3 bream to come up and look at the spinnerbait then turn away from my spinnerbait so i know these little small baits work great like a charm and because of 12:01 i now want to go to academy and purchase a couple strike king bitsy minnows so i can turn my 4th tackle binder into a search bait box with spinnerbaits buzzbaits and crankbaits. Thank you for your time you have spent in making this vid sir , great help and so far its a 5 star rating.

I’ve found that sometimes when you’re getting little taps but nothing is really going after it, you retrieve really fast and for some reason those sunnies take it as a challenge or something and start hitting that speedy crank bait action hard. Hangry hard. I love those little crank baits. A few good quality choices out there. It also kind of depends on when you’re fishing. When fish are on the hunt, those little lures are killer. You’ll get into an every cast gets a fish situation and realize why these micro cranks are so great. I’ve also removed the front treble on the double treble style just to see what changes and the lure just won’t sink as fast or go as deep on retrieval. But less chance of snags in weedy areas. And I love that you included your trash encounter with that fellow. Trash is everyone’s problem. How can anyone complain about people leaving trash all over but then not pick it up themselves to help make it right? I carry 3-4 of those little plastic grocery bags in my tackle bag at all times just in case. They squish down and don’t take up much room. And I usually end up using at least one. Wanna know why communities end up posting NO FISHING signs and closing off awesome shoreline to keep people away from the water? Trash! They get tired of dealing with the trash. People leaving trash at fishing spots are a detriment to our privilege to fish public shores. You’re 100% right my man, F’n sh!+y pigs! Trashy park trashy people. Thanks for caring about the rest of us and doing what needs to be done when you find trash. I’m hitting the like button and you got a new follower.

I carry a trashbag in my gear and even if it's a disappointing day of fishing I take out some visible trash with me when I leave the area. Well, I did enjoy watching you fish that micro bait. I'm interested in that too and would love to learn how to fish them to catch pan fish. Thanks for the video and keep them coming. I look forward to every upload.

I have caught Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Green Sunfish, Pumpkinseed Sunfish, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass and Warmouth on the Bitsy Minnow up in Michigan before all in one day fishing from my friend's dock. It is a favorite of mine for sure! I know it can catch more. I twitch it quickly while reeling slowly, with short random pauses in between, the twitching I mix up as well, twitch 2-3 times, then 5-6 times, then 2 times, etc. It's hard to explain exactly, but it works really well for me. Great work cleaning up that trash too guys!!

I'd definitely try different colors. I personally like firetiger because it feels that brighter stuff is easier for them to see in water with a lot of gunk. But good job trying it again even though you haven't had much success. You can't write off a lure until you really give it a fair shot. And good job helping that dude pick up the trash. I cannot stand the lazy people that litter like that. My dad always taught me that if you can bring it in with you then you can bring it out with you, but some people just don't care. Sad.

I fish the bitsy minnow at every retrieve speed and style and catch EVERYTHING. The one with the blue on top (can't remember the color name) is my go too. It works real well on a Shakespeare microspin, 5ft ultra light. Makes the smallest bluegill give an epic fight lol.

Brother I swear, when I make my way over there, I'm camping out at that park overnight looking for the scum who keep leaving that crap. There always seems to be a correlation between trashed-out spots and stick rod holders. Maybe they can't afford store rod holders after they spent their money on Busch. Curious about little crankbaits. Downsizing works for me, a lot. Nothing smacks the crap out of a lure like a green sunfish.

You are a stand up dude Alex! I have yet to catch a fish on any strike king hard plastic, nuff respect to KVD and the strike king family. I own several KVD square bills in 1.5 and 2.0 cranks. Anyone out there have suggestions? I do well with Rapala DTs, and Shad Raps, that is why I'm scratching my head with Strike King.
@shawnbeck23033 жыл бұрын
Yes, JP Boy! Last year I caught 43 large mouth Bass in 1 hr and 15 minutes on Mother's day 2020. On a KVD 1.5 Sexy Shad square Bill. Just lost that bait 2 weeks ago! I believe it had a different whiggle than other cranks I have gotten at Wal-Mart. I wish I still had it. I use it on a medium action bait casting rod and a Quantum 6 to 6 ratio Pluse baitcaster reel with 30 pd braid the medium action rod let's the crank really vibrate. Don't give up just yet. I hold the rod tip down and let it bounce of every thing wood, grass and rip rap. It deflects and Bam! The Largies just have to hit it. Use the bait until you get bites then you will know how to use it. Hope this helps you out. Shawn.

This is an amazing lure, better in skinny water, I have caught thousands of fish on it, my largest is a 4.1 lb smallmouth, then 3.74 rainbow trout and many 1.5 to 3 lb trout, it’s a fish catching machine, I fish 3-5 days a week about 8 mounts a year, my best two colors are with red eyes, green tomato and ghost are the best colors ,ghost early spring and fall, but green tomato summertime, or in muddy water, they all cat fish but these two colors are the best for me, two problems with these lures, front hook on some catch rear hooks, I open the rear hook up just a bit, this helps, I also take off the front hook sometimes, strike king need to make it about 1/8 “ longer, second problem, you need to adjust the front tie on eye, little left or little right to make it run str8 on the retrieval
