@@Eizy_Art If you said it isn't a problem, why is it a problem even in a small house? A 5 gallon tank barely takes up any space. I believe people should be ready to give a pet its needs before they get it. They can thrive in a 2.5 gallon, but that requires a lot of care. I'm not going to criticize you but I agree with your friend. My original comment was about the container in the video, which is like 0.5 gallons.

Second of all people buying these bettas only make these shops sell more of them and therefore ordering more of them. Sad but true. The only way to really help betta suffering is not thinking about a aingle one in need but about how to stop that market. But yeah… you wanna have them… 🙈 That‘s why i worked at a shop where we kept all of our fish properly. Also we told our costumers how to keep them 👍 So well… maybe this tiny tank is a biiiit better. Mathematically the difference is not worth talking about in comparison to a propper betta tank 🙄 Something being an upgrade is not always a good thing. And wanting only people who can properly take care of a betta to buy it is not cruel! Buying one and not giving it a proper home is cruel. The way most people keep their fish is cruel. Sadly. Sadly i know what i‘m talking about. But hey… are you living in a 2 squaremeter flat? Guess what… i‘m as kind as to let you live in my 4 squaremeter flat! What? I doubled it up! 😂🙈 I have one last argument that might make you understand what i mean. In my country there are specific tank sizes that are legal for keeping specific fish. Usually those „sizes by law“ are the absolute minimum of what an animal needs to live. That tank in the video is not even 1/4 of what a betta needs. So at least in my country it would be illegal! So maybe a bit better but still illegal! You may think it‘s better for the fish but in fact it‘s just a finger in the dike. And videos like these make people think oh… what a nice betta home. But it‘s not!!!!
