Definitely a lot of power for a beginner, that motor builds power quickly if they have bad throttle control and no room for error.

Congrats... I bought the exact same bike. 1st thing to do is get a screen protector for the LCD, it scratches very easily. Ride safe and enjoy..

@@SueDan32 Got the same bike. First thing you need to do is to learn how to wheelie it... Just kidding, ride safe bro. If it's your first bike I would definitely ride in mode 4 for some time. Awesome fun bike. Watch those stock tires. These will wear out rather quickly. ±4000 km.

if this is your true first street bike, I suggest riding it in D-mode 3 for a while till you're used to it, then progress to the other D-modes. Have fun and ride safe!!

Ya it was his first bike. He drove Honda grom for a month while we visited in Thailand. He did use mode 4 first time but now he use D 1 mode.

Good luck with this awesome bike. I have one too. I almost could not watch you back it off of the truck at your house. You do seem to have the basics of getting it down the street and back. As others have said , wear gear and be careful. She is a big boys toy.............and even then, NOT a toy. Cheers

Ya mate. He bought this bike unexpectedly. I was surprised that he actually bought this MT09 SP for 13k as first Bike. I was looking to buy Mt07 2023 but they didn’t have it in local shop. We saw this bad ass Mt09sp . And he bought it. After a month I bought my Mt07. He didn’t have any bike gear at that time.

Ride with a helmet and safety gear too, you didnt even know what half the controls did and you got on it with no safety gear. I have this bike it's mint....enjoy and keep safe.

You way out for first bike buddy . Stay in B mode for 6 months at least. Go to parking lot and practice , practice . Emergence braking, counter steering for obstacle avoidance , slow speed maneuvering . If bike not crashed already :)
