Just found your channel! Great haul. I love War and Peace and the Count of Monte Cristo. I haven't heard of The Village of Stepanchikovo either, but it's now on my TBR list!

Wow! I have seen so many book hauls/best books of the year on TikTok and KZbin over the last month and this is my favorite list so far. Such a refreshing and exciting list. Lots of books on my to read list and even more I want to check out after watching. Thanks for sharing!

Adding Heart of a Dog and Bluest Eyes to my list now! Btw if you're into audiobooks, David Clarke on Libravox does an incredibly beautiful reading of The Count of Monte Cristo (free). 65ish hours of pure joy.

The Waves is my favorite Woolf novel absolutely beautiful writing…. I reread Brave New World recently and the humor worked for me this time it helped to hear it out loud in a British accent lol…. If on a winter’s night a traveler was really interesting in its structure and its use of second person…I also plan on reading War & Peace and The Count of Monte Cristo this year! Happy reading :)

Hi Caitlin! I'm SO excited for you to get into Monte Cristo! Currently halfway through and it's become one of the best books I've read. Also I find it fascinating how you've been saving The Brothers Karamazov for one of your last Dostoevskys 😅 It's the first one I've read from him and it left me completely in awe. I immediately read Crime and Punishment afterwards but it didn't 'wow' me just as much as TBK did!

Omg you’re making me want to start monte cristo so bad!! I can’t wait to talk about it with you! & yessss I decided to end with TBK because it’s the last book he wrote, but am kind of regretting it now lol. I think after The Adolescent, I’m gonna go for it!
