FIRST CANADIAN NHL GAME! Filipina Experiences Vancouver (Granville Island)

THIS IS MY FILIPINA GIRLFRIEND'S FIRST EXPERIENCE IN CANADA... AND WE HAD THE CHANCE TO GO TO A NHL HOCKEY GAME!
Leaving Vancouver Island, we crossed to Vancouver City taking a ferry. After catching up with my brother, it was time to watch the Vancouver Canucks take on the Ottawa Senators at Roger's Arena. It was absolutely amazing being able to take someone from the Philippines to there first ever ice hockey experience... at a big NHL Arena!
Therine is now a Canucks fan! And she is also a fan of riding the aquabus and exploring Granville Island Market. This famous tourist market in Vancouver is full of food and local products. We even found a weaving center!
Just an amazing experience in Vancouver. Feels so great to be able to share it with my girlfriend from the Philippines.
Oh, and we had an awesome meeting with the Consulate General in Vancouver!

Great to see you guys enjoying and having fun even just few weeks here in Canada.You two are much more relax together here in the cold winter than in the hot Philippines. Hope you two can come here in Toronto on summer time and will get a chance to go up to CN Tower , Therine would love to walk on the glass floor, having dinner in the revolving 360 restaurant, do the challenge as long as she is not scared of heights and many more. What a great initiation to NHL hockey! Being there to see one of the 4 best teams in the league with a win at home. I have to side with Therine on the cheer, though. The Ducks' cheer is more fun than the Canucks'. I was liking Therine's hotdog choices, too, until I saw the ketchup on it. Yeah, I'm one of those mustard, never ketchup on a hotdog people. It could have been forgiven if it was banana ketchup, though. lol I have to say that Vancouver is one of the cleanest big cities I've ever been to. Would love to go back one day.

Kulas you bring up such good memories of not just Vancouver, .. but BC in it's entirety when I watch these videos of you and Therine back there, ... and what a great introduction to Canada for her. Vancouver Island, the BC Ferry, and now the mainland, and the Canucks. I was a transplant to Vancouver from Southern Ontario a few years ago, ... and from there to the Philippines, .. but if I ever head back I would hope to be able to still afford to live in BC. The last time I was on the Island it was great to see mile 0 of the Trans-Canada Highway. I'm sure at some point you'll get around to taking Therine to Victoria as well, ... but I know there are hundreds of great places you know of, and only so much time. Safe travels to both of you!!😊

I saw by accident in a vlog of your meet and greet in a restaurant and the blogger congratulated you on your engagement to Therine. I don't know if it's a secret but congratulations!!
