I can't imagine how damaged and traumatized these poor animals are psychologically. Physically they look to be in fairly good condition. Although, I don't understand how that could be. The humans that were contributing to this pitiful state of these primates, should be very, very ashamed of yourselves. No excuse, under the sun, for these types of living conditions and neglected environments that contain these suffering animals. No excuse. Thank you to all of the Heros that made their rescue possible. I'm sure they appreciate it more than you'll ever know.

No solo hay que condenar a los abusadores que profitan con esta actividad ruin, sino también a lis consumidores. La gente que asiste a los circos con animales y los que festejan las aoariciones de animales en televisión. Todos ellos, dueños de circos, entretenedores, conductores de programas y consumidores de estos espectaculos deberian ir a prisión y/o muy fuertemente multados. Estamos en otro milenio.

Da miedo como algunos humanos, por desgracia muchos todavía, se creen con la autoridad de poder cazar o someter a otros seres vivos, y solo por el hecho de sentirse superiores y con derechos para destruir las vidas de seres “inferiores”. Para mí, esas personas, demuestran su ignorancia y su falta de bondad hacia los demás, de sensibilidad y empatía. Enhorabuena por vuestro trabajo, un diez sin duda alguna!!

el hombre que sale en la finca donde estaban los monos, era el que tenia a los monos allí y por lo tanto, maltrataba ?(ya que esas condiciones son maltrato) o tenía aquella finca en propiedad y quería ayudar?

La persona que aparece era el propietario de los chimpancés y éstos le fueron decomisados por encontrarse en situación ilegal.

You all did great work thanx. Try growing a couple trees in the centre of the enclosure, they would love it instead of just man made structures. Just a thought, not criticism. Great job

There are no trees in the facilities as the trees in our area are too fragile to support the weight and strength of the chimpanzees. That's why we give them the height they need with large, high wooden platforms that are much stronger. But thank you very much for your comment and contribution. :)

If chimpanzees became extinct it wouldn't change the ecosystem at all. There is actually an argument there, that the world would be better off without them. They are methane producers that contribute to global warming.

The worst is that former owners are not even aware of the suffering they are causing, because they claim to love them. This is the video we always show in our guided visits. We do our best to work in education, to stop this to happen.

Yo no entiendo como se les puede maltratar así a esos animales. A mi me parecen una joya. Son muy minoritarios, y tan cercanos al hombre. Me parece tristísimo!.
