Our babes are like a week apart and I had the same issue with his hand being so freezing when I left one arm out of the swaddle. I felt so bad! But I was told they just don’t have good circulation in their hands and feet and it’s not an indication that they are cold. I started putting a sock over his hand after that though 😊

He is such a CUTIE NUGGET!!!!!!!!!! I remember the cold hands when we un-swaddled at 8 weeks. Their core and back of neck is a truer indication of their body temp/if they're actually cold. Their circulation is kinda off as babes, so their hands may be cold even if they're not cold. You're doing so great ma!!

We got that Baby Einstein gym at my shower. The boys love it. I just wish the tummy time roll attached to something. Mine are averaging six to six and a half hours, but we started dream feeding a few weeks ago, and that's what has made the difference.

The winkle toy and the banana toothbrush are baby approved in this house. Though the banana one is a toothbrush it also works as a teether and relieves that pain in the gums. Also a great introduction to brushing his teeth.

My son likes tooth brushes. The rubber comb thing that's for cradle cap and his giraffe. I tried all the teething toys and pacifiers. Those 3 are the only ones he really liked

We never used our bimbo like I had planned but I used it out at restaurants and my husband thought it was weird at first but then he saw how dirty the public high chairs were (I have never ever seen an employee wipe one down at a restaurant ever) so it just made me feel better to bring my own in with me and I had a lot of moms stop be and think it was smart!

Forest is soo adorable. I wish one of my boys would of been left handed like me but nope they are both right handed. My mom was left handed and so she could help me learn things in a right handed world. I am old and lived in a world that only had right handed desks.

My son used to do the same thing when he went through growth spurts. He would cluster feed. As for the arm thing idk about that. My son always took his arms out. The nurses had to double swaddle him because he was really good at getting out. 😂 I didn't get much toys. Hes only interested for a minute. He plays with boxes,bags a rattle and one teether toy he only likes is the giraffe rubber thing. He loves listening to music so we do that. Happy Holidays to you and your family 🎄🎁❤

I’m not sure if you did this before, but I was cracking up when you were doing your makeup and rocking back and forth! I do that now because I’m so use to having my baby in one arm while doing something and I’m constantly rocking even if I don’t have him! 😂😂

I did the same as you. I think I bought 3 gifts and I didn't wrap them, just put them under the tree...plus the baby will get wrapped gifts from family and friends etc....

There’s a free app called “baby tracker “ where you can keep track of when your baby sleeps, eats , and poops ☺️💩 it’s amazing !!! I use it everyday and my baby is 3 months ☺️

Just wondering why you swaddle him in the bassinet like that ? I know swaddling is popular but I am wondering what is the added benefit of also having the integrated swaddle ? I am not judging just honestly wondering how this works out ? Maybe in person its different but it looks so uncomfortable he looks so stuck but mama knows best I guess he likes it ! When do you plan to stop swaddling him ?

Probably either from him sucking on it or I had looked up about it because my sons hands and feet were always freezing but from what I found there blood just doesn’t flow like ours yet, most said not to try and bundle them more to keep the hands warm because if the rest of them is warm they are fine 🤷🏼‍♀️

Swaddling still seems weird to me. The only time both my kids were swaddled was in the hospital after that I never swaddled them
